Not impressed with this signing at all but I read Moggi was hailing this player. It's the 1st time Moggi hails a Juve signing. But to be honest, I haven't watched this player at all so I would appreciate some info about him.

Can someone post in proper English what Rummenigge said? And the Marotta reply also in proper English?

Thank you very much.
Rummenige:
"We don't want to have players like him (Vidal) in Bayern. He promised many times to the club president (Uli Hoeness) that he will sign for Bayern. Now we can see the value of his promises. If this man kept his word, if he had shown character and if he was a man with moral, then he would have "stayed" with us.
Now Vidal plays for a club which is suited for (people like) him. It's enough to check Juve's judicial history (calciopoli) and their latest results on the pitch."

Marotta's reply:
"With regards to the Vidal situation, Juventus operated according to the market rules which foresee an agreement with a club, Bayer Leverkusen in this case, and with a player. It seems that Rummenigge opted for less orthodox channels.
They have missed out on a great opportunity in the transfer market and in terms of communication – their silence would have been preferable.
Evidently the Nerazzurri (Inter) past of a great champion and official like Rummenigge weighs heavily and, as is clear, you can’t control the heart."

Seeing how mad Bayern are, it looks like Vidal badly fucked up Bayern's plans. The Germans most probably had everything pre-arranged. They knew who to buy, who to sell and where to sell but Vidal signing for Juve complicated all those transfers.
I won't be surprised if buying Vidal was the reason why they let go Van Bommel so easily in the winter or why they never tried to keep Altintop. They are Germans, they make plans long in advance and they don't like it when someone screws up all their plans :D

Great job Arturo, great job.
