Juventus ds Paratici " Vidal? I remember that we saw Arthur for the first time in a Bayer-Leverusen Villarreal. To think that we were there to observe Giuseppe Rossi ... and we fell in love immediately Vidal "
And when they went to observe van Persie they felt in love with Bendtner

Yeah but we're talking about human emotions here, not computerised logic.

We were so shady about his situation from the start. After a while we said he's fine no surgery required just rest.

Then he came out to play in Serie A for less than 10 mins and couldn't walk after 5 mins, waving away passes from his team-mates. Straight after that, he plays 70 mins against Benfica, and what do you know, he now requires surgery.

We mishandled the situation all the way through.
I agree 100%, that's why I asked who's making the decision for him to play.

Common sense alone should say rest him, if doctors were involved I call neglection but I doubt it. Either Management or Conte pressured to play him regardless.

Nah, I don't think that mgt pressured Conte into anything. His injury was less serious and they all decided that he can play few more games before the operation. Chile fans might be furious, but Vidal also knew his situation.

I would even bet that Arturo wanted to play due to his competitive nature, but that's when objective opinions from a physician should matter most.

I understand Juve pay his salary but they are also responsible for his health.

Neglection by omission is neglection all the way.

This is hilarious. We don't know:

How bad Vidals injury was exactly
Whether Vidal wanted to play or not
Whether the Board pressured Conte in to playing him or not
Whether Conte wanted to definitely play him or not
What the medical team suggested

So, to have so LITTLE information, and moan about a situation in which you have no information is ridiculous. All I see if people jumping to about 5 conclusions and moaning about an imaginary scenario.

Exactly. The thread was just absolutely ludicrous the last few pages.

I am sure he wasn't forced. He would have wanted to play. Sometimes a person reflects on something later, and regrets that they weren't given the correct advice. If they didn't advise him not to play and just went along with him wanting to play, this could be a reason for his annoyance. All hypothetical of course.
Do you actually have any reason at all to be saying Vidal is angry or annoyed with the club? Did he appear disgruntled in his last appearance, say anything to the press that i missed? but then again when have little things like reason or evidence ever been necessary for your opinions? :D

“Arturo Vidal had one year left on his contract. Jupp Heynckes, then Leverkusen’s coach, went to Bayern. He told Vidal that he would have brought him in Bavaria on a free transfer the next year. This came to the fore, and Leverkusen told him that he could have gone wherever he wanted to as long as it wasn’t Bayern. Also, Arturo wasn’t enamored with the city, he had no life. We came along and Italy became a preferred spot. His agent was very intelligent to understand the situation, and Vidal accepted our offer. The uncanny anecdote is that we discovered him in a Europa League match while we were scouting Giuseppe Rossi“.

Basically we got Vidal because he thought Germany was a boring country and he wanted outta there. If he stuck around for another year he'd be playing for Bayern now.

Thank you, depressing German cities.
