Thanks to Juve, your team is actually relevant.
Thanks to Vidal, Juve is actually relevant nowadays. Think about it.

Juventino[RUS]: How do you like it if Chile's NT does the same thing? Play Vidal at the WC when he's not completely recovered, aggravate his injury, and that causes him to miss out most of the next season for us?
I bet there would be all types of shitstorm and boo-hoo fags claiming vidal's head.

 Ye, instead of winning scudetto and european trophy we should think about chile national team
Scuddetto was won like 10 rounds ago (because the league is weak) and I repeat NO ONE CARES ABOUT EL. It's a compensatory tournament for sucking at CL, and if we lost when Vidal couldn't play that only shows the teams sucks without him, P-E-R-I-O-D. I'm not even gonna mention the fact that they keep pilling up 30+ strikers that don't perform in big stage, Juve could learn a thing or too from the NBA about "building a team around your franchise player".

You Cholo mother $#@!er.
Cholo is for peruvian folks, learn your geography.

Facts:

1. Player was injured against Fiorentina
2. Player was rested and surgery was considered and discarded a month ago
3. Player said his knee hurt and bothered him
4. Player started against Benfica
5. Player has surgery
This is actually correct, you should have started your argument here.

What you're saying is that the player himself had no say whatsoever in this decision?

Makes perfect sense.
Of course he would have wanted to play, most warrior players want to play no matter what out of emotion. That's when club management comes in.

It has nothing to do with the World Cup, but it's worrying that apparently they risked playing him without knowing what was the problem with his knee.
This.

So it's the managements responsibility to tell him he cant play, for us, so he can go play for a different team in the summer when the player himself feels fine and wants to contribute when we need him? If vidal wants to play thats fine, our responsibility is towards him not the Chilean national team's interests.

It's got nothing to do with the Chilean NT, though of course we should show them some respect as well.

It's more about the player himself - he will be gutted to miss a World Cup, and possibly even be angry at the club in a way for letting him play. Added to that, we should never risk aggravating an injury to our most valuable player.

were he forced into playing i could see that but cmon you dont honestly think that was the situation here do you? And if he wasnt then getting angry at the club would be pretty childish for him. Sure a lot of players would still probably respond that way but I dont see that kind of attitude in Arturo

I am sure he wasn't forced. He would have wanted to play. Sometimes a person reflects on something later, and regrets that they weren't given the correct advice. If they didn't advise him not to play and just went along with him wanting to play, this could be a reason for his annoyance. All hypothetical of course.

What's done is done and I really hope he comes back healthy and misses nothing from the WC. He really deserves to be there at the peak of his career.

Confirming once again how easy is to troll you.

Anyways, I guess the relevant question is who is in charge of making the decision to play:

Player
Coach
Management
Doctors

How the fuck, you jungle medical expert knows that Arturo was so injured that he needs a surgery and has to be sidelined at the moment of injury and after that? How you moron? And how the fuck if that is sooo big injury he is coming back to Turin tomorrow ,one day after the surgery .
@DUKAC I'm sorry, I don't understand your posts. Maybe use google translate. Or don't they have that in the poorest countries of Europe like Macedonia?

I cared about it, so you're wrong.

Hell, I thought it was our biggest game of the season.

Using your logic, he should be angry at himself.

Otherwise, it's far too easy to put the entire blame on Juve:
Vidal is not allowed to play against Benfica & in the league => angry because he can't play.
Vidal is allowed to play on => angry because he wasn't forced out of the squad.

Yeah but we're talking about human emotions here, not computerised logic.

We were so shady about his situation from the start. After a while we said he's fine no surgery required just rest.

Then he came out to play in Serie A for less than 10 mins and couldn't walk after 5 mins, waving away passes from his team-mates. Straight after that, he plays 70 mins against Benfica, and what do you know, he now requires surgery.

We mishandled the situation all the way through.

Juventus ds Paratici " Vidal? I remember that we saw Arthur for the first time in a Bayer-Leverkusen vs Villarreal. To think that we were there to observe Giuseppe Rossi ... and we fell in love immediately Vidal "
