Barca offer Alexis for Vidal

Mundo Deportivo claims Barcelona are prepared to offer Alexis Sanchez plus cash for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The Chile international is wanted by Europe’s top clubs, including Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

According to today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are lining up a summer bid worth an undisclosed cash sum plus ex-Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez.

Vidal has a contract with Juve until June 2017, but the club made it clear everyone has a price.

Fuck off you cunts

But yeah, it's much more likely to see Pogba leaving, rather than Vidal.

I love Pogba, but if I had to pick one of those two -- I'd take Vidal.
You're right. Pogba is destined for greatness but Vidal is an immediate guarantee and more versatile and well-rounded than any other play I've seen. What if neither want to leave though? I mean, do we need to sell our best players for survivals sake? We have a relatively complete and young squad. We're a financially stable and responsible club. I say retain our current midfield for the next season or two at any cost (maybe excluding an old Pirlo). It has to be one of the best in the world and the more success we have with it, the bigger the offers we'll be receiving.

I really think winning EL this year is very important. In that, it gives our top players Vidal Pogbz etc. who are wanted virtually by every team, the conviction that they're making the right decision by staying here (that there will be more european trophies ahead, so one less reason to want to move).

If he wanted to leave i would understand. Right now we are a 2nd tier club, just short of the top tier. I wouldn't sell him for less than 70 million euro though, that would be the minimum the club should accept imo.

He says he's happy at Juve though and loves Italy. Hopefully we can keep him till the end of his career, after all he has Scudetto tattoos on his arms he really loves Juve.

Yeah, loosing Vidal would be terrible, doubt we could replace him with a big money signing. We would need to find a new guy, and for that we don't need to sell him in the first place.

Vidal should be the last one on the sale list from our team.

But we can spread that money around. Place quality in each position.
So we should weaken the strongest part of our team to improve the overall quality? Our defence is stacked, and our midfield is world class. The attack has to be one of the best attacks we've had in a while. If we have to sell Pogba or Vidal it has to be Pogba. Vidal is even more influential to this team than Pirlo is, he has more goals than everyone on our team. Why the hell would we sell him? He loves it here.

It is e even debated whether we sell Vidal or not?

He's said I don't know how much times in the last 2 years that "this is the best thing ever happened to me, in this club i give my best, i'd like to become captain, stay forever"... And blah, blah, blah, blah, other stuff like that, and it's still debated "I hope he doesn't leave, maybe so"... Jesus Christ.

us loosing both vidal and pogba will make us what Milan are now. these players are hard to find and most good central midfielders are overpriced.
However, we would probably invest a lot more of that money than Milan did after selling Ibra and Silva. I'm very naive so I think and hope they will both stay for a handful of years but if PSG, Real, Barca etc. will double their salary and we can't respond, one can't really blame either player for leaving. It would just suck sooo much no matter what because I really enjoy them :hellyes:

I don't wanna see him go but with the combined profit of selling Vidal + Pogba we can build a super squad like we did when we sold Zidane :tuttosport:
A super squad requires a super-wage structure. Not just transfer fees. I'd rather keep our best players and wait till we are consistently generating huge profits before having an expensive super squad.

What we need is to win EL this year and then crush the CL winner in the Super Cup. That would be ideal... And a brilliant way to start next season, putting us on the right foot going forward in Europe. If we start having UCL success, mininum QFs every year, with at least a SF every 3rd year, we'll keep our stars for sure, and attract many others.

Ye winning the EL would really put the spotlight on us when we play a huge team in the Super cup. It would be the only game on at that time probably so literally everyone would be watching it. It would really do the club some good i would love to see it.
