Being afraid is one thing, but I don't think Juve fans will have had any problems with him professionally since joining. Maybe that red card against Milan but it is very isolated.
If we need a tackle to bring down player with the ball when the opponent is in a good position to score and win the game nearing the end of an important match then I expect or rather hope most Juve players to do the same; regardless the tackle comes with red card or yellow card. I think Vidal's tackle on Van Bommel away in Milan was similar, I don't understand what you're afraid of.
Example 1-1 at 88 minutes, 4 Milan players attacking against 2 Juve defenders if Vidal lets Van Bommel pass, I guess you rather Vidal let Van Bommel pass the ball than bring him down and take the red?

I hardly ever like anyone we play against since the feeling most of the times is mutual, so for me that tackle is super cool if he did that playing for us and we were cruising to a win. I wouldnt mind if Vidal broke totti's face or van bommel's shaft, that would be super cool.

retarded post is retarded. Balotelli being the exception to the rule, no one deserves to be fouled with the intent to injure. It's just a game, and you're practically doing your best to end another persons career.
It was necessary to commit a foul, as I recall, but he did it with more aggression/force that was really required, so gave the ref the chance to send him off.

I don't remember it being necessary to commit the foul either, as I recall Juve having quite a few numbers back already. Could be wrong, but I agree about the agression. Marchisio has basically perfected the tactical foul.
