zakly, how do you ask him as you are going to see bayern?
Because maybe just maybe he wanted to go to Bayern for one of their players KNOWING they were going to ask about Vidal? Hmm.

And we aren't a selling club. But, if you want to get technical then by your definition Barcelona/Real/Bayern/Chelsea...all selling clubs. Apparently every club in europe is a selling club because I have yet to find one that buys a player and keeps them all until they retire.

Pirlo has been one of the greatest mids to ever play the game. His first season here was fundamental for our title. You can't ommit players like him from legend section; it has been as much as Juve's privilege to have him here as it was for Pirlo to play for the most important Italian club. Didn't force his way out of the club, but realized he's is too old for top football and left gracefully, without too much hassle.

Vidal forced his way out of the club, club where he became top player. Not legend imho.

Very true.Cause I don't watch the press please what Beppe said about Vidal, did he really asked to go ,and do someone have a clue why suddenly he wants to go and why we sold him immediately for that price? We can wait like any decent team to make a bigger price.Very strange.
experts heard that Marotta said Vidal asked to leave (to Bayern specifically, if some translations from the press conference are to be believed)

Remove the option then? If we can't use it, why have it? :D

Indeed.

Not to mention this is the weakest era in Serie A in a long time.I dont know i dont feel like he should be given legend status.

I'll guarantee you some tards will ask to move Pogba thread to legends section if he leaves because he won 5 titles.
if you mean me by this, no i wont. Pogba has to stay here atleast till hes 29-30, considering the age he came here at. if he leaves us by the time hes 24-25, there is no way he can be considered a legend, no matter if he won 3 CL in a row

What made you think that Vidal 'forced his way out' ?

Did he throw any tantrums in the media like those epl players do ?Absolutely nothing.

Teves: wanted out
Vidal: wanted out

What were we supposed to do?

As far as other players like Isla/Ogbonna..those on that particular level. We sell and reinvest. Where does this make us a selling club? If I am missing something completely obvious then by all means elaborate.

Why would Bayern pay more when they know he wants to leave? They can offer what they want and Juve have to take it because they don't want to be left with a disgruntled player.
Oh I don't understand then.Sterling also wanted to leave but what can Liverpool do?Nothing just to ask for 52 mil pounds and get to them easily.Yes Vidal was 28 ,so.He had one injury,so.Khedira didn't play almost an year.So he is also an injury prone? We all have to admit that Bayern ripped off us with this price except something is hidden(player from them) If this is a straight selling than financially is a fiasco.

Nope I doubt he did. But if our board has a good relationship with our players like an open door policy, and Vidal brought to their attention he needs a change of scenery, why keep him against his will? He would only leave for free in 2 years or for peanuts next year. We had to maximize our value while we could.

We had our hands tied with Tevez.Sure,we couldnt do anything about it.

But not with Vidal IMHO.We DEFINITELY could have negotiated a better price.

I just feel this sets a bad precedent for any sort of future negotiations.Like the Pogba example i explained in my previous post.

You would make a good politician or Press Secretary for BHO.

I'd make a good reporter.

I ask you the tough questions. You don't answer said tough questions. :D

Is it impossible to think that our board had enough respect for Vidal for all he has done since he came to honor his request? Maybe this was another Conte situation where we learned its best not to try and motivate someone that isn't motivated to be here any longer.

teveZ has always said he wanted to go to boca

Vidal never showed any sign to suggest he WANTS to leave, theres a big difference between wanting something and not minding the opportunity, so either bayern offered him a contract which we refused to match(as confirmed by marotta in the interview) or the accident just drove a wedge between the 2 parties.

A non selling club would just tell bayern to fuck off and convince the player to stay, it's not like he hated his time here.

How do you address my Pogba example ?

Disgusting clubs like Barcelona will try to lower the price as much as possible and use the player's interest as a leverage.

We need to be like : fuckers pay the price we want or gtfo.We are talking huge sums in regards to Pogba here.

Big part of it is that we weren't willing to match Bayern's offer with regards to his salary. Marotta almost says as much. In that regard I think it made sense selling Vidal. Whether or not that makes us a non-selling or selling club I frankly could not care less about.

If I may speculate here, I think the car crash was the cause of all this. Maybe the club was just fed up with Vidal’s antics, and Juve are known to be a very strict about these things. Vidal on the other hand may have felt disappointed that the club didn't stand by him after the accident. I think I haven't seen one official statement made by the club regarding the incident.

But this is just my opinion.
Maybe you are right. We all don't know that why there are big ? above this transfer.BUt how can club stand behind a player who make a car accident drunk? For me but I am not Juve that is not a big deal. They can fine him because after that incident he gave his all for Chile and was MOM at the final.Yes for money he is payed he should act professionally on and off the pitch but,I don't know, that's why I am so curious why so quick and for this amount?

:agree: if we were a selling club, we would accept the 80M for Pogba, or atleast tell them to offer a bit more and they can get him. but we rejected because he wanted to stay. we only sold those players that wanted to leave, and we didnt even make any problems to them and sold them to the teams they wanted to go to for a fair price, as opposed to what a sellign club would do, create a bidding war and try to sell to the highest bidder
