great city of london  doubt they ever been there
I'd never go to London on holiday(except the time I wanted to watch Arsenal). But then again, neither would I ever go to a gulf country including the one I live in on holiday(if I were living elsewhere). But London is an attractive place to live and work, you can't deny that.

It is. And while you do have better food and proximity to nice beaches in Italy, I'm not sure how relevant all of this stuff really is to professional footballers. If he wants to, Vidal spends his day somewhere in the Caribbean tomorrow..

Come on, are you seriously going to argue that London is not an attractive place for people in general to come live and work? :D

Look, it would be a dream to live and work in a city like Barcelona, Milan, Rome and other Mediterranean cities. Like I said, I'd never go to London on holiday, other than for Arsenal reasons it's a drab and boring city. But the high standard of living, the opportunities, the fact that it's an attractive place for business to be based there, it's like the New York of the world :p

only reason why london is 'attractive' is because it became an investment banking hub, no more. Hardly relevant for someone choosing a city to live in. The reasons you mention are all present in any 1st world city. it will NEVER be new york :D

Ya well, obviously the reasons are predominantly financial/economical/work related, nobody's going to claim people to go to London for it's food, weather or women :D People seem to flock to both London and New York tbh; Two cities that do not interest me at all, unless I'm going there for work, like most people I'd imagine.

new york is the center of it all, if you are the best at anything you go to new york. Not to mention the amazing food, great shopping(no sales tax on non expensive clothing), great night life, and abundance of shows. Anyways way off topic, conclusion london is a dump.

Every time British media recognize the rumors they started about Vidal is exposed, they claim the English club isn't interested anymore. It happened with the Man Utd rumor and now with the Arsenal one.

Basically, and in turn the fans spout the same bullshit.

English club is linked to your player "If we want him we'll get him"

Player doesn't go "We never wanted him anyway"

Ignorance is bliss.

I just hope we reinvest the £21,000,000 we get from Arsenal for Vidal wisely enough. Hopefully if we push really hard and beg a little bit we can take 1 of their bench players in return.

Headlines in English papers after market in 2014: "United did not sign Vidal because of van Gaal's concerns about his knee."

Headlines in English papers after market in 2015: "Arsenal did not sign Vidal because of Wenger's concerns over his dui and crash."

The concept of a world class player not playing in the EPL doesn't sit too well with their fanboys.
