I love Vidal as a player but he seems to be an idiot of a human being. And he even claims in that youtube vid that it wasn't his fault :sergio:. Apparently his blood alcohol level was around 1,20‰ which means he drunk quite a lot before entering his car. He should be glad he didn't kill anyone including his wife.

Assuming these reports are true, it's truly fucked up he would drink and drive, very irresponsible.

I love the guy to death as a Juve player, but people who get in their cars after hitting the booze are the lowest of the low for me, endangering so many with their reckless shit.

Wrong. He needs hist family, his team and us fans to try and tell him that he behave like an idiot and he could have killed himself, his family and innocent bystanders. There is no point in sugarcoating DUI, the only way to get to his head is by being brutal about it.

Glad he's ok, but this is very disapponting. Drunk driving is the worst. Simply disgusting behavior.

And it's not the first time, I think?

Please learn from this, Arturo. You're a better man than this, deep down.

Come on everyone here, don't be holier-than-thou. Yes he did a bad thing and yes he will have to man up and take the consequences, but its hardly something unheard of.

I love it how everyone goes: "he had his wife with him, OMG!". Yeah he was partying, having a good time with his loved one. Would it have been safer to take a prostitute? You know, just in case she isn't wearing her seat belt...

And to the chileans who are on his ass with the argument - 'this shit doesn't happen in europe'. Uhh, actually it does A LOT. But it's one of those things big clubs do for their players... Society doesn't like it but its a fact - if you are driving constantly a car that has 500 bhp more than the average, accidents are more likely. Rich and young people tend to drive a lot of those cars, yet most of them don't make it to the court or papers in Europe and other places too.

Calm down guys.

It was an absolute error to drink and drive, but first: you dont know how much he had! Maybe it was even under the allowed limit (you know how much media like to make a drama story) And second: he said it wasnt his fault: I believe him. Just look at the pictures, his ferrari is mainly damaged on the left side, which means the possibility is very high, that the other car came from the left and it was the other car's fault!

So how do you suggest we do that, blame and abuse him thru social media and get fans to sing "we hate drunk drivers" in our curva? i hate drunk drivers, worst kind of people, but what if he is right that it wasnt his fault? what if he does more stupid things if his family and fans actually abuse him because of this, seriously, im not and i dont think anyone should sugarcoat DUI, that's not a thing you do when you are sane, but accidents do happen, and i am real glad nobody got hurt, this may be his one and only chance, so when i say support him, i mean not to abuse him like what the media are saying, i know he loves his family and truly believe he has learnt his lesson.

So for that, long live King Arturo!
