P.S Football is about producing, hence why Marchisio has been played for so long? :howler: Yeah he really produced in these Juve glory years. The only argument Marchisio lovers have is that he has been played but I'd like to see where he played as well as he has against Milan and Inter consistently. He can't tackle, he can't pass. All he does is run forward and score nice goals in a few games a season. That's not what a midfielder is good for. He may as well just be a CF.
:sergio: 95% passing completion.

I like both as much as each other and I think they should be both played.

Marchisio had three much worse games misplacing passes and shots and you didn't comment once.
What games ???

His passing and shooting for the most part was bad but he still made 4 key passes and passed with an over 80% success rate. He made one extremely classy pass under pressure almost assisting Marchisio had he not fluffed it completely.
The only classy thing in that sequence is Marchisio ball control, that was a simple pass.

He was also a huge reason why we were allowed to impose our game plan and dominated Milan's midfield. So there is nothing wrong with taking his poor passing and shooting into account but ignoring all the important things he did that allowed us to win the match is wrong.
He's playing in a free role allowed to press upfront like he wants and Marchisio staying back covering for him

He definitely did not have a bad match it was a solid match. Not like Marchisio's 'solid' matches this season where he has given the ball away just as much and brought no physicality to midfield or made any important passes. If this is a bad game for Vidal, his best game must be out of this world good.
Marchisio played better than Vidal in every game this season and you can see the rating you could ask the neutral fans ( Red) and you could see that Conte keep on starting him.
I think its obvious already who the better player is.
Yes it's obvious till now Marchisio is the better player.

Passing sideways and backward under no pressure doesn't count. He rarely ever makes decisive passes for a midfielder and he hardly ever ever imposes himself in the same vain as Vidal in terms of physicality. This is because his work rate is generally not good enough. I wouldn't complain if he actually ran his arse off and pressured the opponent but players simply walk past him instead. Pirlo has been harder than him so far this season. It really won't do if he just doesn't work hard and passes backward and sideways all game. He only made something like 40 passes against Milan and his tackling and pressure isn't even close to Vidal so what is it that makes him so good? I give him credit for at least running forward and going for goal, its the only time when he has ever been a protagonist for us. Against big teams going for goal. Glory hunter.

Every game bar the Parma and Milan game Marchisio played AWFULLY! Just terrible terrible games from him. I recommend you watch those games again and open your other eye this time. Misplacing every passing and players just walking right past him.

A simple pass  He had Milan players all around him, quickly turns and chips it precisely in the path of Marchisio who really controlled it great yeah :howler: he really screwed up that shot royally.

Marchisio is doing a terrible job covering so far he is just weak off the ball. In his three bad games he has really sucked and most members were giving him ratings of 4 and 5 which he was lucky to get considering how crap he actually was. When we played poorly Pirlo had no space, isn't that Marchisio's responsibility?

You probably shouldn't be saying that other posters aren't objective :D

 Marchisio was one of our best players in the Catania game, he was decent in the bologna game he did his job and didn't fuck up anything and his only suhpbar game he had is against Siena and even that game he outplayed Vidal who was crap, don't you think if like you are saying that Marchisio had done nothing since the Parma game why Conte insist on starting him, why all the rating ( Media) he was noted one of the best players .??
You clearly hate Marchisio just for the sake of it, you said he can't pass and yet you love Vidal even if Marchisio is a better passer.

I'm not going to get involved in this whole ridiculous debate because I like both players, but in all honesty Marchisio was crap against Catania, Bologna and Siena.
See above !D and yes it's ridiculous debate because Marchisio is clearly outplaying Vidal and yet some members hate on Marchisio just because he's benching Vidal

It's far from simple, simple passes are those which Marchisio does all the time.
See the first goal he scored against Milan  and if That Vidal who is labelled by some members as a great passer did not one time deliver or at least attempt some special pass that will break the defence (Pirlo-like) and he fail to deliver those simple passes you said Marchisio do all the time yet they still say he's clearly a better passer.

Only the Marchisio fanboys are attacking him.
All I said was I THINK he didn't have a good game...if that's attacking him then :howler:

 He can't pass..yet had the highest passing completion rate and when that is brought up all you can come up with is it "isn't hard to pass sideways"..and I am the non-objective one. :dielaugh:
:sergio: 95% passing completion.
Don't even bother with numbers, they won't look at them.

Cheese, I don't know how many times we have to say that if Vidal plays better we have no problem with him starting over Marchisio...none at all. But as it stands, that's just not happening. When it does and Marchisio rides the bench its all fine and dandy, especially for us because we will know its down to marchisio being out played which in turn is better for the team. LOL we think he doesn't have a good game as some claim and here you and I are...hell, until today I didn't realize I was the most un-objective poster on the forums.

Let's continue "attacking" vidal...forza "fanboys"
Great, the Marchisio nonsense and retarded hating is coming back faster than I thought. :touched:

No, it's clearly not. Not to mention they've some differences.
two completely different kinds of players.

You know, when Kyle told me that if Marchisio would be able to play consistently and impose himself more on the midfield I valued his opinion and gave him mine. After all, they are only opinions. Many here share the SAME opinion as Kyle and as soon as Cheese/myself state our opinions why is it we are bashed so much?

What is so threatening to you guys to have an opposition opinion about Vidal against Milan?

Sorry my last post was meant for Claudio's thread. Anyways, I guess the point sorta goes in both threads regardless.

Just don't want people to think the Fanboys are pushing our views on other threads like I was accused of last night.

this sums up your approach pretty well, once again the nerve you have to come criticize a player who has started so far one game and up to that one game had the same effect playing half the minutes as your 'baby', whos been wallowing in mediocrity for the last 3 years. I hope you at least have the mental capacity to understand why you're being jumped.

No, I don't understand why I am being jumped. I like Vidal, I think he is a good player. I just don't think he had a "great" game.

But OK, I guess I lack the mental capacity.
