@Ocelot I've just realised that I was unclear - when I said Arturo was SO good I meant he used to be, not against Dortmund. In the BVB game he was good but not SO good.

He needs to work on his passing among other things. It's absolutely inexcusable that he fails to complete 2 meter pass, as it happened on couple of occasions. As I've said Pirlo's injury means we won't be seeing Vidal as AM and that is for better. Pereyra's set of skills make him more apt for that role.

Agree. Arturo reportedly prefers playing at AM over CM but tough shit. As I said I'm hoping that a wee run of games will get him some form back.

I don't know, to me he had one of his worst games in a Juve shirt actually. In general, I think the level of his performances has been a bit underrated here due to the huge expectations we have of him. But against BVB there wasn't much working for him, he lost possession quite often and put himself at serious risk to be suspended.

I'm definitely in favor of playing and keeping him though, I still haven't lost hope in him regaining his old form. And to be fair, even with the way he's been playing this season he's a better CM than most.

Thought he had a good game, lots of defensive cover and was making those runs into the box which brought about the goal.

A few bad passes but nothing dangerous and he has always done that.

Love this guy but really, If a good offer should come, we should take it because 1. He isn't getting any younger and 2. Hasn't shown any signs that he'll get back to what he was.

People say all he needs is rest, guess what? He won't get any. When the season is over he'll be at Copa América, on which he'll be playing extremely physical and tough games, and then right back to another season.
