I think he was good until the 70th min, after that he went full retarded. He need to ride the bench for 1-2 games and than only play b2b , no more am

No offence, but people saying he had a terrible game, especially in the first 70 minutes, should honestly check their football IQ. I am more than annoyed by his performances so far this season, but the hate is getting out of hand. Of course people will be sceptical because he himself set the bar of expectation so high that it's hard to satisfy people, but all of you should be able to see that this was a massive step towards the better for him. He was definitely one of the best players for us tonight.

He is nowhere the Vidal he used to be, but he was good today especially defensively.

That's until around 75min when he went full retard like the rest of the team.

Its all about last impressions with fans, and his passing and mentality took a complete nose dive in last 15-20 minutes, became a liability. But yeah prior to that pretty excellent defensive work, harassing their midfield all over.

I love Vidal! He is a real G. We are lucky to have such a beast player when our team used to be riddled with pussies like Tiago, Almiron, Jorge "Malaka" Martinez, Diego... etc..

Grande Vidal!
Tiago has been a beast this season and the last. Simeone's effect on his performance levels remind me of Guardiola's effect on Xavi with the latter ofcoarse being more naturally talented.

We were never able to get the best out of neither tiago nor diego though the latter never reached the high level that Tiago recently reached.

He can still harass and tackle. It's his bread and butter. However, he's a world away from that 10 goal a season, B2B midfielder of previous years at the moment. His passing, decision making and goal scoring are the worst facets of his game right now but these things are a matter confidence IMO. Reminds me of strikers in form lulls. Not necessarily losing their work ethic and can chase and press all game but when the ball comes to their feet they lack their usual attacking instincts and it's almost always due to lack of confidence.

One bad, injury interrupted season out of four ain't bad. It's happened to the best of them. Vidal has proven for a long time now that he's one of the best in the world. Consistent, injury-free playing time in his natural position will instill a new found confidence in him. I'm sure of it.

Agree in general, but I'm more worried then you, because the energy levels he used to have, and tempo, is not the same anymore, thats the most different. Rest is attitude and confidence thing, that hopefully should get back. But the intensity to his game that made him what he is, not sure if he can get that back like before.
