I'm not really for or against vaccines. I never get flu shots and I never get the flu. I will say that it's kind of weird that most people just blindly sign up to have something injected into them.

But you are offcourse 100% pro the injections your children would need to receive at certain ages.

I remember the day well.

Didn't watch the Juve game because I was in Edinburgh to watch Aberdeen draw 0-0 with Hibs in what might be the most boring game of football I have witnessed.

That's all I'm saying here really. If you're healthy adult getting a vaccine for flu is pointless and shouldn't be available at every farmacy. Only after recommendation of your physician, the person that can see your medical background, that is if he evaluates neccesity, which might happen if you have cronic problems ( asthma as is the case with AFL) that could affect and weaken your immune system, it is reasonable to use vaccine.

But if there is an adequate supply then why not let healthy adults get it as well? Much better than vomiting and feeling dead for a week.

There is no adequate supply and it doesn't give you insurance you will not get the flu that season, not even by a long shot. It only protects you from a certain amount of variations. But those are almost endless.

No, I represented the CDC with a source from the CDC.

Of course there is, a number can be placed on anything. The effectiveness of it is usually about like 60%, which is far better than nothing if you ask me. And of course, but that doesn't mean you can't go for specific types that will most likely appear during the season.
