To be honest I’m starting to think it’s all English media bullshit.

As far as the Vidal transfer bullshit goes. Every day I am starting to think that it’s not even close to being done and that there isn’t that much concrete interest from Man Utd anyway.

All the English press comes up with a new story ever day but in Italy they’re saying that different. The club has come out repeatedly saying that he’s not for sale. Now there’s every chance that they’re doing this to put up the price but if that was the case the Italian media would be all over it.

And to be honest the transfer only makes sense because of the potential money involved, Let’s look at it like this:

Man Utd not playing Champions league
Juventus playing Champions league
Man Utd have a terrible squad
Juventus have strengthened their squad
Man Utd are not even close to the top squad in their country
Juventus still have the best squad in Italy
Vidal will realistically be 29 at least before Man Utd could compete for the Champions League

I know money is a massive carrot when it comes to these things but he would be going backwards by leaving Juve for Man Utd, who are probably only the 5th best team in the EPL. If HE wants to move he’s better off pushing for a move to:
Barca
R.Madrid
Chelsea
Man City
PSG
Bayern
Maybe even Liverpool or Arsenal

All these teams are (currently) better than Man Utd.

This has media bullshit written all over it
man united will play cl in 2015/2016 and they are very rich. i don't say vidal will go but the chances of winning cl with man united are higher then winning it with us. (or allegri has to pull a wonder)

Finances so dependent on Vidal sale to Manchester United, loan moves now Juventus best option - report

Juventus need Manchester United to sign Arturo Vidal to fix holes in their squad they cannot otherwise afford to, argues an Italian pundit.

Just two seasons ago, Juventus fans clamoured for the signing of Robin van Persie. Yet the club could only muster a £10 million bid, and he was sold to Manchester United for £24 million instead.

Later that summer on deadline day, Juventus desperately signed an out of shape Nicklas Bendtner on loan from Arsenal, and added Nicolas Anelka on a free during the next transfer window.

24 months on, the Serie A champions are still struggling to compete in the transfer market, outgunned for Alexis Sanchez and Juan Iturbe.

Selling Arturo Vidal to Manchester United would be a financial game-changer, but just how desperate is it for the Turin side, who have this summer spent roughly £25 million on new players.

Sky Italia's Alexander Surgoni believes they have reached their limit by bringing in Alvaro Morata, Patrice Evra among others.

He says they are now almost all spent out, and have to look at loan moves if they are to strengthen, unless they sell.

"If they sell Vidal, Juventus can sign a defender, a midfielder and a striker. The Juventus has already identified a midfielder in January, Guarin, a player that Inter could yield. Then a defender, and can invest 12-15 million on a striker for a certain profile. If they do not sell Vidal, the defender and the attacker Juventus's aim will be to borrow."

In other words, if they sell Vidal, Juventus can go onto sign a whole new spine to their team, including a big name striker.

If they stick with the Chilean international, they will have to scratch around for loan moves and hope Alvaro Morata comes good, if they are to improve on their group stage elimination in last year's Champions League competition.

In defence, Manchester City's Matija Nastasic has been linked as a top option, while up front even the spectacular name of Zlatan Ibrahmovic has circled in the Italian press.

That may be unlikely, but given the finances Juventus would have available, they would be able to ideally attract a striker closer to that calibre than a Nicklas Bendtner, as they may otherwise have to take a gamble on.

How fucking ignorant and arrogant are these English cunts? :D They seriously think we are like Leeds United on our last legs in the early 2000s. We're the ninth richest club in the world...

And they actually don't understand that these "loan" moves (esp for Romulo and Pereyra) are just an extra installment in our eventual purchase of the player.

This transfer won't happen now. We are nearing September. If we sell him now we won't even have much time to spend that money on quality players.

On the other hand Marotta already managed to sell one of our best players in the last week of August once (Diego) and got Quagliarella for him :shifty:
