To be honest I’m starting to think it’s all English media bullshit.
As far as the Vidal transfer bullshit goes. Every day I am starting to think that it’s not even close to being done and that there isn’t that much concrete interest from Man Utd anyway.
All the English press comes up with a new story ever day but in Italy they’re saying that different. The club has come out repeatedly saying that he’s not for sale. Now there’s every chance that they’re doing this to put up the price but if that was the case the Italian media would be all over it.
And to be honest the transfer only makes sense because of the potential money involved, Let’s look at it like this:
Man Utd not playing Champions league
Juventus playing Champions league
Man Utd have a terrible squad
Juventus have strengthened their squad
Man Utd are not even close to the top squad in their country
Juventus still have the best squad in Italy
Vidal will realistically be 29 at least before Man Utd could compete for the Champions League
I know money is a massive carrot when it comes to these things but he would be going backwards by leaving Juve for Man Utd, who are probably only the 5th best team in the EPL. If HE wants to move he’s better off pushing for a move to:
Barca
R.Madrid
Chelsea
Man City
PSG
Bayern
Maybe even Liverpool or Arsenal
All these teams are (currently) better than Man Utd.
