That's where I noticed him too.

Man, that was one great championship and the boys who shone there are famous footballers nowdays. That 2007 u20 world cup in Canada was the place where I first saw Sanchez, Cavani, Pato, Vidal, Di Maria, Giovani dos Santos, Mata, Zarate, Isla, Luis Suarez, Chicharito, Vela, Pique, Banega, Coentrao, Marcelo and it was the first time where I could follow Aguero more closely (he came to Spain a year earlier but I didn't really follow him there).
The u20 in 2009 was a big disappointment compared to the 2007 one and only Andre Ayew from those boys in 2009 made a name for himself.
U20 world cups are fun. I watched some live games in the 2005 u20 WC here in Holland. First time I saw Messi, Aguero, Gago.. Spain had Llorente, while Italy's star of the tournament was Graziano Pelle. Nigeria had some nice players too with Obi Mikel and Taiwo.

I think we are going to get both. Vidal for me would work in a 3 man mid, and not a 2 man mid, espesh if the other player is Pirlo. You can put four Agueros upfront but a 2 man mid of those two would leak goals, left, right and centre. Vidal-Pirlo-Diarra works for me. But if we're adamant on the 424 then lets just stick with Diarra next to Pirlo. Also, I'd much rather have a conventional winger like Bastos who would also track back more than a Vucinic out left, because that issue coupled with this, might leave the team horribly imbalanced. So we may be really pretty going forward, but we'll probably be all over the place when not in possession. Lets hope Conte isn't confused because of all the options our capital increase has given him and Marrotta.

I think that Pirlo-Vidal can work because Vidal have really good defensive skills (he used to be a CB) but his offensive qualities will be wasted.
To be our DM, I prefer him over Diarra.

He's not a pure DM like Diarra. He's a lot more offensive minded. And will not provide Pirlo thhe protection he needs for his game to flourish.

I wasn't active in this topic and i lost a lot of posts , and im to lazy to read all of them .

But from what i have seen Vidal isn't pure DMF , i mean is he the right man for 4-2-4 he seems to be better for 4-3-3 (Melo-Pirlo-Vidal) .

Hopefully Voller acts on this and tells him and Bayern a big no.
They been going for him longer then we have, and Vidal also proclaimed his interest to them (especially Heynckes there now) before we bid. Depends on how much they bid, but if they bid 15m or whatever price Leverkusen will accept, we will prolly lose him to them.
