3 Million a season, 5 year deal.

12 Million to Leverkusen.

Marotta
 Great deal, indeed.

Best signing Marotta made so far.
What Alen said at the bottom...
He's only 24? Wow.
The boy is still growing, hasn't even come close to peaking yet. :)
I'm gonna praise Conte for this transfer, not Marotta.
I was thinking the same thing. Seems like Conte is telling Marotta what players he wants and with Vidal/Lichtensteiner so far it seems like Conte is asking for players that run a lot and aren't afraid to bring the pain.

You could, however, argue the case for selling Melo though. But it's a little more complicated than passion if you ask me.

well but it's still a very good deal... obviously he made some questionable moves but the vidal-deal doesn't become any worse just because he bought pepe for 10mio...

it just looks like some people will stick it to marotta forever for every bad move and if he makes a good one they basically ignore it and keep sticking ;)
It wasnt such a bad deal as u all think. We already spent 2,5m for his loan, so that 7,5m euros we have paid last week isnt any huge amount.

I can agree that is very hard to defend Marotta in another cases, like Martinez oraz Motta, but... Mistakes happen. We spent on them the same amount of cash as Secco paid for Tiago. And there is still possibility that Beppe will find a buyer for Marco or involve Martinez in any swap deal.

This seems at this stage a very good deal, but it's going to take more than this for me personally to accept marotta as being any good at all. In the end he hasn't got the hardest job in world football. hr has plenty of money (to convince clubs to sell) and he has Juventus as he club he's trying to get players to agree to come to (with plenty of cash for wages). Obviously his job is made more difficult by the fact that we don't have Europe this year but still not impossible, look what Bayern Munich did??? When i add all that up, at this stage he has failed...

Know one pal. Only two teams who made bids to sign him were us and Bayern Munich. He would have preferred to join them but for obvious reasons bayer were not going to sell him to them and therefore sold him to a team abroad.
Yea, i understand. Chealsea probably was just interested in him after Essien got a serious injury or could be that they even was not interested in him and that's just media's bullshit. I don't think he rejected them as well.
