Imagine as a worker at a new job you get fined for being an idiot and the entire company knows...then you get injured and can't work for almost 2 weeks after the fine.

LOL

Bravo Paratici

"melo" that's the first red flag when trying to sign this guy. Then there's his 60% lung capacity compared to an average player let alone a high workrate player which is about %120..
In 3 years dude will only be able to play one half :D

What a comedy of a player, my god.
A joke and misery of a player.

Anyone has an idea when will we have to pay those 10m euro in variables? We bought him for 72m euro+10m in variables. He signed a 5-year contract. That means that each year on his contract is worth 14.4m euro. In order to avoid minusvalenza, if we sell him this season it will have to be for 57.6m (impossible), next summer for 43.2 (improbable), in 2023 for 28.8 (meh), and in 2024 for 14.4 (possible).
I guess the best we can do is to loan him out somewhere for a season, two or three in order to avoid paying the variables and his wages, because sure as hell we won't be able to sell him in the next 2 or 3 seasons.

"We won this trade"
"We got the better player and younger"
"We got rid of Pjanic and his massive wages"
"Paratici fucked barca hard"

We did right to sell Pjanic, we did wrong by buying Arthur in his stead.

Not so hard to comprehend. Not everything is black and white, this transaction was grey as fuck for example.

I agree. I've only liked Pjanic for his first two seasons, after that he was a liability. But Arthur has been even worse. The thing he has going for him his age, but with his price tag he's pretty much locked here. We should have shipped off Pjanic, but this deal can't be defended unless he improves by leaps and bounds on and off the field.

I think that pass against Benevento wasn't a mistake but rather it highlighted his limitations. Not an issue with vision, he definitely saw Danilo but his passing range isn't there for lack of technique or strength, and he's hiding it by not attempting those long forward passes.

Once we were known for being a smart and well disciplined club. We would be praised for smart transfers, players would rarely play up and do stupid things.

Now we have dumb cunts travelling to Dubai during a pandemic, throwing parties because they think they are rock stars.

Get these players in a room...bring back previous champions of the club and let them criticise the shit out of them face to face. Find telephone books.. im sure some still exist somewhere...get the cricket bats or baseball bats and just fucking lay into them while watching the teams of the 90s and the early 2000s.

Who said it is? But we downgraded a position by spending tons of money, now think about that. The little time arthur plays he's inferior to Pjanic, and Pjanic was way more often available as well.

You're right that we could have sold Pjanic and went for a different player. Imagine if we sold him to Manu or PSG or Chelsea for money and got Locatelli instead, while he was in the 30M range instead of 60M now. Or even Tonali. Freaking Jorginho would have been better than what Arthur has brought so far. You see? There are always plenty of options, but that's for the Juventus SD to figure out, not us.

You forgot "100 million Pjanic mental imps left at sea"

We got damn close though. Washed up old Pjanic went for 60M in a corona summer. Imagine prime Pjanic and with the pre corona inflated market. 120M easily :diculo:

True but you have to just read some posts over the summer. Some people were pretending to be accountants and were praising Paratici to the moon before a ball was even kicked. All because Paratici replaced an older player with a younger player while completely ignoring the quality and the additional baggage he comes with.
What's the point of this plusvalenza when we could potentially be minusvalenza'd on the pitch for years to come.
