Last year Juventus signed Ramsey and Rabiot, both had something fundamentally wrong in their stories, but many here were adamant that those were great signings. Reality proved them wrong, predictably.

Now another midfielder is signed, and this is also a story with a bitter taste: the guy obviously was forced out of his club and had no intention to join Juventus. That's exactly what you want to have in your weakest department.

But hey, it's another one great deal on paper from the financial point of view, so at least Fabio The Great Accountant is happy again. And it's no surprise that the deal of this kind was made with Barcelona - the filthiest club in the world when it comes to financial management, and who were desperate to fix somehow their books until the end of the month.
Arthur is a whole lot different than Ramsey and Rabiot. He's young, talented and will be Huge for us. You'll see.

Is he the ultimate solution for our midfield? Hell no, we need to add at least two more good players there.

Welcome Arthur

Try not to be a typical Lolzillian and also could you not sidepass and back pass the ball at every given opportunity like the guy you are replacing. That would be super.

Oh and I’m loving this transfer for the simple fact that barca fanboys on social media are mad as fuck about it.

Every time we sign a Brazilian I can’t help but wonder if we finally got the “right one”

Everybody else in Italy had them: Udinese had Zico and Amoroso, Roma had Falcão, Aldair and Cafú. Milan had Altafini, Kaká, Ronaldinho. Inter had Ronaldo, Adriano, Lúcio. Napoli had Careca and I guess Altafini too. Sampdoria had Cerezo.... I’m sure there are more those are the ones I remember now.

Meanwhile the closest to a “star” was probably Diego and we all know how that went. Alex Sandro could’ve been the one but he kept getting worse season by season. Nobody really stood out to the standard we would expect.
Chinesinho and José Altafini ?

Has anyone looked at the number of injuries this guy picked up this (short) season alone? You might be unpleasantly surprised, especially considering the fact that he was never even close to starting eleven according to the minutes he played.

I guess the same could be said about Emerson (who I forgot) but we never had a special one is what I’m trying to say. There has been plenty of all time best Brazilians in Serie A, just not here.

Regarding Altafini we could argue he was much more a Milan legend and even Napoli before Juventus.
