Heck, not Chelsea no :)

Liverpool must be the only respectable choice left. No...wait they don't have many English players either.

They said on the coverage Arsenal play better away from home. I'm not surprised considering their pitch is so narrow.
Man U is very British- Roy keane, Giggs, scholes, oshea, rooney, smith ferdinand Neville bros Fletcher.. good british side.

Yeah, which makes me wonder what will happen to Arsenal once precious Henry falls to injury.
A year ago, I would have said they'd be in trouble, but Reyes is making me wonder.

I hope all teams in Europe underestimate the true quality of Juventus, much like you do River. It will help us out a lot. :D
I dont underestimate them. But they've taken some major beatings as of late

Was it last year Roma tried it? And Henry scored a hat trick. A team with that much pace is dangerous even when you cut the best supply lines. Yes, that's a bit one-dimentional too, but try argueing that to Henry's back as you try to catch him.
Sorry I forgot to add this, but as I recall, Roma did try to shut down the midfield and tightly mark Henry. But the glass is only half-full. As I recall, Roma did not attack very much, and had a tendency to just sit back and not attack whole-heartedly. Thats their mistake. Its imperitive when playing against Arsenal to pressure the midfield, secure Henry, and attack, attack, attack. Much like how teams beat Real Madrid, the same must be applied here, and give them a taste of their own medicine. Of course it is a rather difficult task, but teams that are sound defensively, while threatening going forward, will have success against Arsenal.

That's true of course. Any complete team has a chance to beat another complete team. So what? Arsenal are a more complete team than any other out there and Roma aren't nearly at that level, as they have serious gaps in their squad.

Arsenal are a more complete team than any other out there? Maybe for domestic competitions, but certainly not overall in Europe.

BTW, we were not comparing Arsenal to Roma at present time.

Thats exactly right about Arsenal. The way to stop their attack is to pressure the midfield, not sit back and wait for them to come. You clog up the midfield, and make sure Henry is marked up all the time. This will effectively spread the ball to the wings, thus making Arsenal have to cross the ball to forwards who can't make headers and cutting off Henry's supply line. Its fairly simple to accomplish.
Arsenal is not all about Henry anymore it might have been the case 2 seasons ago,but not anymore,i mean did you watch the Arsenal Chelsea game in the Fa Cup last season,Henry wasnt playing in that one but who won?and who's the top scorer in Arsenal and the EPL this season?is it Henry?,plus if holding Arsenal's offence is that easy, maybe its just me but i dont remember any team doing that for a long time.

do you watch the Champions League? Every time it gets to the later rounds, what do you know, Arsenal fail to score. They play very good team football which allows them to crush lesser opposition but in games where they don't have the ball they look anything but special. Ie. Arsenal VS Valencia

Also Henry VS top quailty international sides shows that he has and can be marked completely out of games. If i were to verse crappy defenders (ie average EPL defender) Henry would be my no. 1 choice as he is brilliant at exposing poorer defenders.

Exactly Alex. We saw what Henry could do during Euro 2004, and it wasn't much. It was rather disapointing actually, as he was shut down by every team he faced.

Arsenal since last season have become completely different, the Valencia game was 2 years ago,but there wasnt any team in europe who could stop Arsenal last season until Chelsea did in the quarter finals.

Henry played a good match against Man utd in Highbury,he was superb against Inter in San siro,he was rather good in both Chelsea games in the league,he was more than sensational in the second match against Liverpool,so what else do you want.

Very true. No one's questioning whether Vieiri or Morientes are as good as their reputations.

As someone said, Arsenal are a new team in the past two seasons: they no longer look like bottling it domestically, they've found consistancy.

Blackmint, watch Miller, he's got the look of a very good centre mid.

I don't either Andy. Notice he said "most of the stars" and didn't name Zidane. :p
Thats a negative. He said and I quote "ALL the French stars choked in the Euros". You see the difference Mikhail? :D

Damn. I missed that. The thing is, I've seen a lot of people say exactly that - every French player underperformed, but I disagree. Zidane was one of the players of the tournament, even if he was only at 80% of his best.
