Is he like Bale, Drenthe, Bastos, Vargas etc?
Bingo. Except three of the four you mentioned have actually established themselves as really good wingers. The same cannot be said about the mediocre Traore.

Mainstream media rule, any young player that plays for Arsenal is bound to be quality. Hence the overrating of Theo Walcott, Niklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela.

I thought you rated De Ceglie (the Italian) as the best thing since sliced bread. Did you already change your mind? Cronios, Cronios, you should be more consistent, at least to reach Juve's level.
there was a time and did, but mostly as a growing talend we could use and adapt to our needs.
We should give him some more chances as a lb and guide his versatility towards defensive duties. But we gave him none, we wasted his potential to grow molinaro's confidence.
Dc was mostly used as a winger in the meam time and he has probably has grown into an age when a conversion is becoming harder to achieve.
I did gave him a last opportunity last year, his 1st actually, but he has failed as a lb, so i declared that we should only consider him as a back solution for the left wing, as he is young, with small wages, tolerates the bench, versatile enough to cover2roles and still young enough with room for improvement. I dont want him out, i rate him higher than grosso, but our defence is the joke of the league and we cannot afford any more compromises.
We do need a reliable starter, that was my stance since april and our new coach and transfer director claimed the same. After suffering from this issue since calciopoli, it is absurd to ignore this one more year. I m afraid this issue isnt fixed only because we are looking to fill this hole with yet another mediocre italian player.
As long as we dont sign any of these mediocre italian names i ve been hearing these days i ll be pleased.
As i believe that is brobably one of the worst crops of italian defenders in the recent history, esp for the left flank.

Can we just have a left sided defender that can defend for crying out loud!
It's easy to see that we've been playing with a lopsided defence for well over a year now. I don't care if they are crap at attacking as long as they can defend.

No because too many here will then say "can't we just have a left sided defender that can attack for crying out loud!". People will never be happy.

Hmm why Cassano ??!
We sent out Diego ! Wich was better than Cassano .
And Cassano&Diego play in the same positon ?!
G.Rosi ?! Hmm if Iaquinta goes .
I hope in this deal (Diego-Wolsburg) marotta asked them for Dzeko for next year .
If Dzeko wont come next year , would be Marotta-s biggest mistake ever .
I still thinking Dzeko is involvued in Diego's deal .

My dream team was like this :

Dzeko-Diego
Giovinco-Sissoko-Marchisio-Krasic
Kolarov-Chiellini-Kjaer/Bonucci-Motta
Buffon

Walcott has made a good start to the season, he might surprise this season.
