Maybe they want him oin january to prove him right away. They want to see if he could be able to do something like Kaka (he adapted very well).

If not, then they will loan him at the end of the season.

And Mago Santana.. yeah i have to agre with u Abou the Tevez-meadia campaign thing!. They tend to overpraise all the young prospects who resemble maradona in some way. Hey but that really didnt overshadows the good player Tevez is ;)

Here's the latest on this.

According to Calciomercato.com, the transfer fee of 4 million euros has been agreed upon, but the last(and major) obstacle to this is the fact that San Lorenzo doesn't want to release him in January, while Juve, for obvious reasons, wants him next month. There will be a definitive answer on this tomorrow.

well, if Juventus is interested in him, and he do come to Juve this January,
then he is something.
It would take more than ordinary to make Juve buy someone. :D

I've never seen this Gonzalo Rodriguez guy play before, but I'd rather get someone that I've never seen before than Lucio. Gabriel Milito on the other hand, would be a good acquisition IMO, but I can't see Zaragoza letting go of him that easily. Unfortunately I have this bad feeling that Moggi will opt for a cheap Italian option such as Natali or Dainelli.

Juventus is not Real Madrid, must we buy the big name with tremendous transfer value?
then what about Salas? he is one of the best striker when we bought him.
I believe paramatti, baiocco, fresi and o'neill do have potential when they came to Juve.maybe the environment, competition, etc.... don't suit them.

There is always risk in football.

I surf this website practically everyday though i seldom chat around here!
But thats one thing i dont get it. Why a majority of you guys tend to dislike lucio and about him coming to juve? To me he is one of the top defenders in the world and definitely worth buying and i cant wait to see him in juve! Most of u guys would want juve to buy ppl like mexes, bonera and van buyten etc. but to me lucio is much better than any of them. If lucio is that bad how come chelsea and real bid for him? I really hope moggi gets him asap!

As for rodriguez, i think he will be a great defender and definitely future in command in the argentinian squad in defence alongside milito so definitely worth buying! I think juve should sell of fresi, iuliano, and get 2 new young and great defender like lucio and rodriguez then our defence soon will contain legro, montero, tudor, thuram, lucio and rodriguez. Strong right???

bah! you're telling me. of course these is a risk. but it was you who said: "It would take more than ordinary to make Juve buy someone." so i just said that sometimes we buy not so extra ordinary players. good at the time but far from extraordinary

Rodriguez, Milito and Lucio would all be welcomed right now. we dont need one good central defender, we need at least two.
