It could be that Mutu was impossible to keep at the time. I don't quite remember, anyways. However, if this was the case then it wasn't such a bad deal. Who knew that the oh so promising Bojinov would turn out to be such a donkey?
Bijinov?!!! why ?
He wasn't given the chance to play, and when he managed that, he did pretty well...
Its DD who to be blamed for his mistreatment of Bojinov :disagree:

No, no, no, it's the MOTHER that ought to be blamed for the mistreatment of Bojinov. Poor fat fu*cker, probably was brought up on pie and jellybeans :p

bojinov was a huge dissapointment .. at times he seemed like juve's saviour .. then when u look closer he has way too many flaws . he's slefish , clumsy , and inconsistent .

but in all fairness he wasnt given much of a chance

Actually Secco admitted that selling Mutu was a mistake.. but dosent seem like he learned anything from that deal. We should have loaned Nocerino to a smaller sider imo. Mistake by secco :pumpkin:

True, but to be fair to Secco, all Nocerino has talked about since joining is what a wonderful side NAPOLI are, and how he'd love to play for NAPOLI one day. I know he's from there, but jeez..

Secco probably views him as some douche he'll make money on when the time is right.

I don't rate nocerino so highly .. one good season is never enough to prove how good a player is . i think somehow he has managed to become an overrated player at the age of 22

It isn't only about Nocerino... 15 years ago we had a great young talent with the name of Alessandro Del Piero and since that date we have extremely overrated any young player within our hands.

true

palladino , marchisio , chelllieni , giovinco .. theyre all great talents and obviously have a bright future but to rate them so highly so soon is ridiculous .
players are rated after years and years of proving themselves .

and i think thats what juve owe to its rising stars , time . something that us fans arent allowing as we immediately want palladino take be the heir of del piero .

its just not that simple . these players need experience, and need to develop their skills , a few good/great games in one season and so much is expected from them all ready .

i don't agree .... as fans we were looking for the next big talent but look at the last 15 years squads and you will never find a youngster who had a chance. i only recall the second lippi era were we had maresca and thats it ..... im excluding the last year

in fact if you look at milan, viola and roma you will find that they grew more young talents than us

Nocerino may not be gattusu but in our current squad we dont have any other midfield stopper... thats why i think we need him

Don't think we should make such a big deal out of this. I put 100% confidence in Juventus' ability to spot unique talent, as was the case with Del Piero all those years ago. How many of our past youngers have gone away to become "Del Pieros" anyway?? None. However, I think we should keep an eye out for Giovinco. In my opinion, he seems like that kind of talent that only comes across once in a while..

Del piero will come once in our lifetime , and noone will ever replace him .

yeah , giovinco is definetely something special and i think loaning him out was a logical move . however , he also may turn out to be another wasted talent ex; cassano , miccoli .....

as long as giovinco comes back to juve , i think juve will have landed the potential future of italian football .

Well, here comes the good news :

Secco: "Nocerino resta alla Juventus"
12 07 2007
