Juve snap up Azzurrini starlet Wednesday 20 June, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus have signed Under-21 international Antonio Nocerino, while Parma picked up Andrea Gasbarroni.

The Bianconeri already owned 50 per cent of Nocerino’s contract, but today reached an agreement to buy out the remaining half from Piacenza.

He starred for the Stadio Garilli side this term, scoring six goals in 37 Serie B games and taking them to the verge of the promotion play-offs.

The midfielder is preparing for the Under-21 Olympic play-off against Portugal and has also played for Avellino, Catanzaro, Genoa, Crotone and Messina.

Nocerino has signed a three-year contract with Juve and Piacenza received just over £2m for the remaining half of his ownership.

Juventus have completed the sale of Gasbarroni to Parma after his spell at the club this season.

The Gialloblu had a productive day, taking on all of midfielder Francesco Parravicini from Palermo and Fiorentina.

They also took in Damiano Ferronetti, who was co-owned by Roma, for around £300,000, but they lost Francesco Ruopolo to Albinoleffe
