If push comes to shove, I think he'll resign tbh

JJ is his last opportunity at coaching a big club. If we are serious about him which appears to be the case, I think we'll get it done pretty quickly.

Oriali's statements are also pretty damning when he said he won't follow Conte at his next club. I feel there's already a done deal behind closed doors.

gasperini is just another Motta imo. Too stubborn tactically. Has a my way or the highway reputation. Don’t think he would work with a bigger club/egos.

Actually you're right. If Conte resigns, he'll have to pay a compensation to Napoli as he's under contract. In most cases, this gets covered by the incoming club. So JJ will likely have to pay some compensation to get him from Naples immediately.
