You mean the bitching about the press?

Or this:

“Pirlo was man-marked in the last game, but he is accustomed to that. It’s unfortunate that teams take that approach, as it’s damaging to football.
“I always tell my players that beautiful football leads to victories. We work for an attacking philosophy.”

This is a statement i dont quite support. One could say he took creativity from the game by giving his team specific runlines and used a hard pressing (433) or countergrinding (352) formation to kill the opposition's creativity.
And i liked this kind of approach, in an age where offensive football is cumshots for the masses and defensive skill is oblivious. Conte's juve reminded me to the determined sides we had in the 80-early 2000 times, when teams really hated to go against us cause we were so hard to play.

I'd understand if a freeflowing offensive coach would say this, if saf's man united said it, or galactico's madrid, or even barcelona, but Conte never played football that was all about the creativity.

Very odd this statement, very odd. Maybe a bad translation

Conte has always been a marmite character. I said when he was here that he is so fiery he just says whatever comes into his head, he's very defensive and creates a strong mentality around his team/club. Mourinho does something similar to create a siege mentality, but nowadays he is calmer and an established coach with ridiculous players. Conte is still proving himself as someone who can win domestically outside of the strongest team in the league (which he was key in creating, it should always be noted).

And we won 3 titles, didn't we. I was also one of the few that voted for him.
These are funnier and it's only the first two pages:

To be official on Monday.

Hopefully I jinx the move with this thread.
Too bad, it happened, he's ours :p
Worst of all available. Pathetic decision.

But still, Insha'Allah he will do well.
I have my doubts if he can even finish a full season with us next year. Bad, really bad choice from this club yet again.
Well I just hope that he will replaced ASAP, he is probably the worst available moment ATM.
We will soon start hoping that he will be replaced and this will be a blow at his high profile coaching carrier.
Really sad that we are wasting the coaching carrier of former players like that.
But fortunately for Content, he, unlike Defeats actually had chance to do Anthony in serie b and even if we compromise his series a hopes forever, some desperate serie b team, may give him a chance to return in coaching next year...

We have seen this again, ages ago I have explained why we are bringing no ones, destined to appease the Italians fans and day dreamers momentarily and then become the scapegoat of one more wasted season...
This is just another coach we will fire in 2 years. The blame for his failures will be directly attributed to our board but nothing will change.

Mark my words folks
Ancelotti gets fired and we opt for Conte.

Forza Marotta and co. :touched:

Similar to goal com article, he seems so arrogant and shows how egoist he is.
He knows he will fail and he knows that he will ruin us and his name, but he is willing to risk everything in order have a wild chance for personal glory.
In order to make the big step as a serie A coach, even for mediocre teams, or relegation battlers.

So much lack of respect for Juve disgusts me. He says that he has brought results and he will demand results and wont tolerate defeats.
With such an extreme stance, it is certain that he just plays the talk and hype of the moment, he tries to fool the Italian masses and abuse his name and the trust we once had to him.
Unlike Ferrara, i will really not feel sorry for him when he falls down, that arrogance and lack of respect is so unlike what Conte used to be...

A true Juventino would decline the seat now and indicate a proper coach like Carlo for the spot, at this very critical moment.
But not a selfish adventurer...
Personally i m not scared to have a say, i m proud of my instincts, because i m usually right. (as history has proven time and time again)
And its not just intuition, i have the exp of decades of watching Juve's progress/performance and i have a huge amount of info available.
I do posses the ability to distance my self from positive thinking and make a cold, but objective assesment, no matter how painful it is, even if the matter affects my personally.
And many other reasons that give me the opportunity, to see and draw conclusions, younger/less exp ppl, dont...

I know Conte is not that stupid, he has always been cunning on and off the field, he has always been a realist, he cannot be that stupid to believe that he can win under these circumstances.
He invests on some media light and the chance to become a serie A coach in the long run. (not with us of course)
Instead of taking the challenge to earn this status with a team he has built, a team he has promoted in serie A and a team who was made competitive to stay there.
He prefers the easy solution, to become the next scapegoat of the agnelli, in a former prestigious club, that still holds some sentimental value in Italy. (but nonetheless, even ranking 7th, still ranks him ahead of any serie B coach)

He sets the bar so high, that any realistic goal would seem a failure, -> it is certain that he sees us as smth ephemeral, just the next step to his carrier.
He reminds me of some young and unproven models/actresses/singers that fall in a famous man bed and start gloating about marriage, (when they know they are just the girl of the weekend) just to gain that ephemeral media attention and raise their popularity, enough to help them make the next step... enough to ensure that the masses will remember their name...
We have seen it so many times, it is hardly a guess, it is rule that has been confirmed again and again, with rare exceptions.

DD refused to play the game of our owners, ferrara took the boat out of destruction and then foolishly stood for the ride, cause he never backed down from a challenge.
But Conte now, does is it on purpose, he has seen how the club acted and he is just taking advantage of the situation, for his personal interest alone and tries to present it like he is doing us a favor, although knowing that the lack of his exp and knowledge will further limit our already very limited chances.
Thats immoral IMO and disgraceful as a Juventino...imo..
.
