Something really is telling me it's more of a rift between Agnelli and Conte here, and if that's happened then more likely than not it looks like Conte's done.

Do you guys think Conte was promised certain guarantees in the market and they've been taken away? I think despite no other job going he would walk away anyway. He's already done it once before after promises weren't met.

Last year in July Conte admitted we had no money and we were doing the best we could in the market but it will be different in twelve months, perhaps he was lied to?

Unfortunately none of the concerned people will ever reveal the truth if conte does decide to go . It will be a very diplomatic ending to this situation , even if conte stays it most likely will be for 1 more season to honor his contract .
From whatever conte has spoken it seems in the league there is not much left to improve , for europe he wants a better squad , can the board provide him the players ? does the board think that he has what it takes to go far in europe (since we under-achieved in europe ) ?. Tough choices ahead for agnelli and co .
