You know, other than he's Inter slime and he cries more than Gwyneth Paltrow, Strama wasn't half bad, IMO. :shifty:

I hate how Conte gets credit for everything that is Juventus. He was a great part of the team, he was not the whole team.

Agnelli is the one who gave him his shot when there were more experienced candidates. Agnelli was the one behind the beautiful new stadium that Conte sprints around in after we win. Where we sell out every match.

Marotta is the one who gave him the undisputed best squad in Italy. He asked for 2 strikers, he got Tevez and Llorente for 9M ffs.

The players are the ones who gave their all game in and game out. You literally can't even question the effort of any player on the squad. Remarkable. They're not mindless robots that are mind controlled by the coach. If they don't want to play, they won't play. They definitely busted their asses for 3 years because that's in their individual characters.

I wish Conte stays but I won't cry if he leaves. I cheer for Juventus, not Conte. His act is getting repetitive and annoying.

 @people thinking other coaches would achieve same results when this guy just broke all kinds of records with this team, do you not understand what he achieved this year or are you that ungrateful/forgetful?? i guess some prefer finishing second in serie A and possibly making the CL 1/4 finals rather than achieving the 3peat with a league record point total.

Yea Conte didn't do much. I mean breaking club and league records is really more a credit to the players than the coach. I'm sure once we hire a Prandelli or Montella or some other mediocre coach we will definitely be catapulted into 3 more straight league titles and 10 yrs of either winning CL or reaching higher stages in CL. Apparently people seem to be more consent with bowing out in the quarters or semis which would validate a successful campaign.

I'm glad to be able to read the brilliance on display here

that is not entirely true.

Conte has to be given a large chunk of credit, he made this team rediscover its identity and has performed miracles for this season. That said Agnelli yes took the risk on him but then again were there really any experienced candidates? or at least one financially feasible to work with a side that was working back to qualifying for the champions league at the very least.

Agnelli was not the one behind the stadium, the triade started it, blanc carried it through to Andrea.

Lets not kid ourselves here, for every Tevez/Vidal/Pogba marotta has bought the likes of martinez, krasic, elia etc... Infact if you ask me marotta gets too much credit for the work paratici does too. Let's also not forget that it was Marotta and Andrea Agnelli who also brought in DelNeri ffs!!!

yes the players have given their all but not because of their quality but because of Conte, certainly it is hard to believe any other manager world class or not would have even achieved 1/3 of what Conte has with this team over the last 3 years. Conte brought out those individual characters, not the players themselves. I haven't seen Tevez enjoy his football so much in such a while till now I believe Conte brought that character out of him

:agree:

If he's smart enough he'll stay. The only teams he could go right now are MU and Monaco. MU without CL and the squad in complete shambles. Here he's got CL and a good core to say the least.

At Monaco he could buy whoever he wanted and then get banned from CL or limits on players/transfers - very good perspective as well

Man U in shambles? They're going to pour money into the transfer mkt which is ideal for a new coach coming in cos he'll have a new look squad with fresh hungry players to deal with.

See, this kind of stuff is what irks me. In one paragraph you managed to say that Marotta bought players that flopped. And then right after that you say Conte brings out the best in the players. So how did they flop then if they were being coached by Conte?

And your answer will be that those players were just terrible players. And I agree. But in that same breath you have to say that Tevez is just a great player. So he succeeded.

You can't wash Conte's hands of the failed players and then praise him when proven great players are great. Doesn't make sense.

Yes right now it's very bad I'd say. Whoever goes there needs to exchange a lot of players and strengthening the bench is necessary too. I don't think they can buy 2 new starting CBs, LB, CM (or even two) and maybe a winger.

as far as i can recall Elia was the only big flop under the Conte era, the likes of krasic and martinez were pre Conte and were never requested by Conte himself, he clearly knew they were not good enough or not suited to Conte's style which is fair enough.

Ofcourse they will. They have the money to do so.
Coaching United is an enticing prospect for a manager in itself irregardless of them not participating in CL.
If Conte goes there,he'll be given a large budget to work with.
United have a ton of money coming in with their recent commercial deals.

Exactly. i love Conte but there are actually fools in here saying we will go back to finishing 7th if Conte leaves this summer. Its ridiculous, our incredibly stacked lineup (by serie A standards) is not just going to suddenly fall apart in Serie A without Conte there to hold their hands through every game. At least a little credit could be given to the players who've won three successive titles too :howler:
