Conte is just letting the world know that he doesn't believe in his players enough to continue at Juve and fight for a better European performance.

LOL... like the fault is only at the players.

At this point... if he wants to leave just fucking go... and stop talking crap. Juventus shouldn't beg for no one. He is definitely one of the most important people of Juve's history, rescuing the team from its worst moment in history. But if he wants to go, go. Actually he needs Juve just as Juve needs him.

abbiamo vinto prima, vinceremo anche dopo.

To sum it up from what I'm seeing but then manipulated by the media, Conte is just Jaded for the moment. Also like others here posted using the media to let The board know where he stands, which I kinda think is a harsh move for the club and us to play with our emotions; but no matter what happens if he leaves, he leaves we are still Juventus and always will be.

Conte has been very good for us and he got us to taste trophies again, so I've got nothing but respect for him.

What I don't like about him is that he talks as if he's reached his peak with this team and we can't go even better, and that's a lie. That could be because he chokes in Cup competitions, not because of the team. FFS, he's demanding the management to have an objective of going past the Group Stages of the CL. Apart from this, he always moans about the lack of finances in Serie A. That is mostly his fault i.e. Marotta said we lost €25M against Galatasaray. When he says there are no more challenges with this team for him, that's a lie. There are big challenges for him in this team, mainly in Europe. He has the team to go far, yet he keeps choking, and instead of admitting his own faults, he keeps finding excuses on this and that. If he wants to go, he'll be missed, but no one is forcing him to stay. This "Conte demands this and that to stay" is a fucking joke. To me he sounds like he wants a new challenge, rather than he needs one.

???

A couple players with certain qualities that will raise the level of the team.

The point of playing CL is to win the competition, and this team is not yet complete for that accomplishment.
We have better team than Atletico and Chelsea if you look on the names only, yet they were in the semi-finals and now Atletico is in final, while we are european chokers, team work could beat any class and talent

Okay let's say the club doesn't give in to Conte's demands and he leaves. Who do you believe we can get realistically to replace him and lead us to CL glory?

I'm really glad Tevez worked out for you guys. I said he would be your best player.

But I'm reading on Goal that Conte is thinking about leaving. You guys should be okay no matter who is appointed, you're much better than your rivals. I think hew will stay because even if he wants to leave, where is there to go? Barca if they fire Martino, Conte's style doesn't fit at all. Bayern will give Pep another year. Real will keep Ancelotti due to this CL performance. Van Gaal is already at redshite. PSG? Nowhere to go, so I bet he stays.
Wait how he will explain his new journey to Milan. He will be convinced by that project by Barbara and Silvio from that institution. And Van Gaal is nowhere to being a MU coach and Conte learns English. So you decide where he will go.

Little overview of this soap opera:
March 7
Conte's future is at Juventus, says Agnelli
However, the club chief says he is planning the club's future with the 44-year-old in charge of the team.
"The future of our team will certainly be with Conte on the bench," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We started on a path almost three years ago. We began to win ahead of schedule. And winning is not important, it's the only thing that matters.
"My dreams are the same as Antonio's, so we will achieve them together."

Conte seeks transfer assurances
Whilst Conte has refused to comment publicly on this speculation, Calciomercato.com report that he is waiting for assurances in the transfer market before opening negotiations.

May 7
Conte: 'Stay at Juve? We'll see'
“Having said that, we need to sit down, confront our opinions on matters and in a relaxed manner see what the situation is.
“I don’t want to say I need reassurances. I will say what I need to say with the club, so together we can evaluate what is best for Juventus. I want what is best for Juventus, in every way.”

Conte: 'I'd evaluate projects'
Antonio Conte said he will “clarify” his Juventus position and then potentially “evaluate other projects that intrigue me.”
“In Europe I believe Juventus are worth at least top eight in the Champions League and top four in the Europa League. I don’t sell false hope to fans, as I am a realist and need to point out it’s very difficult to do better than that.
“We have to see if it’s possible to do better than this. I have some doubts on that.”
Conte has been linked with Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, but confirmed he’s unlikely to take a year off.
“There will be clarity over my position at Juventus over the next few days. I generally don’t agree with a Sabbatical, but if there was a unity of ideas to leave with great affection and respect, then I would evaluate other projects that intrigue me.

How can you doubt your own team in the god damn medias? Jeez... What the fuck has happened to him? Maybe these $$$ offers are too tempting? Basically, he admitted that he has these offers and some of them are very intrigue for him i guess...I'm not surprised that Agnelli took pause and canceled the negotiations

Best post in this thread.

The only thing that would worry me if Conte left is the relationship he has with our big players and how most of them talk about him being the key in their development and happiness.

Players like Tevez(Who couldn't be happy at the moment, look at him yesterday laughing like a child on the pitch this hasn't happened for a long long time), players like Vidal, Pogba and Llorente all commenting on how much they've improved under him. If Conte leaves what message does that send out to our big players? That we have no project and the manager doesn't believe.

I don't agree with Conte's posturing in the media however on the flip and I do have respect for Marotta too but how boring as a manager must it be to constantly hear your sporting director before every game talk about we have no money, we won't compete in auctions, we will look for market opportunities. At the end of the day last Summer our next spend was close to €0, I'm sorry but why can Inter Milan afford to spend close to 20 million on Hernanes and we can't? Yet our revenue is higher....

Napoli, Roma and Inter will look to spend this Summer but it seems like we're reluctant to do so, Juventus shouldn't have to sell Immobile to afford a Sanchez/Cuadrado when we're making close to 300 million a season in revenue the numbers don't add up.

So I understand the arguments from both sides, however if Conte does leave I fear for our Summer market and it would send out the message we don't want to spend because the Board feel our squad is good enough.

As for a new coach, I would take either Montella or Deschamps nobody else.

Alen Hansen said last night that being top of the table with 4 games to go and failing to win the league was a failure for Liverpool, regardless if the team/fans would have expected it at the start of the season and I agree entirely.

It's difficult to apply this to a cup scenario as they're unpredictable, but bar last years exit to Bayern, Conte has failed in these 'cup final' scenarios.

2012 Coppa Italia final didn't show up at all to an inferior team.
2013 Semi final against Lazio choked to another inferior team.
2014 Champions League group stage I can't even think of this because of how angry it makes me.
2014 EL semi final We couldn't even make our own final- all big clubs would call this a failure.

The postmortem is that Conte keeps blabbing on about fans unrealistic expectations and it's pissing me off, in ALL of these positions we SHOULD have won.

I don't know any fans that are demanding we win the Champions League, the least they expect is to at least beat the teams that we should be expected to and if we go out to giant then so be it, when you've dominated the league for as long as we've done it bloody well IS realistic. Enough with underwhelming, choking displays and moaning Conte.

Man up.
