Whats good about Montella? The guy never achieved anything respectable in his coaching years unlike Prandelli who has reached a Euro Final with a crappy squad. (Not that I would want Prandelli very much either but he is the better out of the two. )

I think with Montella that you can see something there as a coach, that he has the potential to be one of the very good ones out there

And Conte won trillion of titles before we appointed him
Conte wasn't coaching for over 2 decades when we got him. He was a young coach who had proven himself in B.

Prandelli has been coaching since 1990 and still won nothing. It took him a decade to prove himself in B and since then has still done nothing.

Think before you give poor examples.

You really think Montella could have done what Conte did to us?

Prandelli did wonders at Fiorentina and with Italy. Montella has always done okay but nothing impressive at all either with Roma or Viola. I dont want a coach that might become good when he grows old I want either a proven winner or someone who consistently did so much with so little (Garcia, Prandelli, Klopp, Simeone)

Yeah I'd like Simeone but he's a s-c-um of a character and would probably be too expensive now.

You make it sound as if Montella was terrible with Roma. He was 7-3-3 in 13 matches with them. That is hardly horrible. And be honest with me. When Conte was hired, given his past experiences with his coaching in Serie A (which was far, far worse than what Montella did with Roma and subsequently Catania before he was hired by Fiorentina), did you really think that he would have been able to pull off 3 consecutive Scudetti?

And how good would Fiorentina have been if Rossi and Gomez weren't out for most of the season?

What? He spent, maybe 3 years in Serie B with Venezia, Verona and Atalanta, and his time at Atalanta was as a caretaker. He also took Verona to Serie A

The Ajax dude, ,Klopp, Simeone, Prandelli all fine by me. Conte was a gamble and so was Ciro and Strama and guardiola.. i'd rather not risk it.

Bad news for us if Conte leaves imo, I doubt we'll do any better with another coach. As already said I guess Klopp, Simeone (both unrealistic) DD or Prandelli would be ok. Probably Montella after that.

The problem is, Buffon, Barzagli, Pirlo, Lichtsteiner and Tevez (even Chiellini and Llorente to some extent) are all coming to the stage where they will need to be replaced in the next couple of years. There isn't the basis for a long term project with this squad. The options are either go for a few major signings now to have a real go at the CL with this team, or else start rebuilding.
This is very true unfortunately.

If there is anyone that I would like to take a chance on if Conte decides to leave then it will probably be Simeone, I don't think Klopp will do that great in Serie A, yes, I didn't like Simeone at all as a player, but man, he reminds me a lot of Conte during Conte's first season with us. If Simeone does win CL/La Liga, I doubt he will move though, so until then, Do all we can to make Conte stay or go for a non risky Manager, Hiddink would be the dream!

Exactly, good points. Lets remember that we came from a painful gamble called Ferrara, and we had to endure how a fondly remembered figure like Ferrara to endure a super troublesome and nerverwrecking season for us.

Conte was a gable like strama and pep, but he suceed...it could very well have gone the same ferrara road. But destiny had something prepared for him.

And yes...we got extremely lucky that Fiorentina lost their 2 main players for half the season. If Rossi and Gomez were kicking balls the whole season, like our Tevez-Llorente partnership did.... they would have been a very dangerous opponent. Look how they dismembered us in that away game...and if they had rossi in our euro clashes...we would have been eliminated for sure.

The same way, Roma lost their way after their first streaj of victories because of Totti´s injury. By that time they were even above s in the table.

He made a mistake definitely with all these talks to the media. At this point I'm inclined to believe that Agnelli will end it as Antonio has showed lack of respect to the club. Some things should stay internal and sorted out that way. He can't spill his guts to the media at the end of each season and blackmail mgt. He achieved tremendous results in the past 3 years and his name will never be forgotten among Juventini, but he needs to learn to control his emotions, as he tends to show these at a wrong place and media tabloids could be certainly qualified as such.
BS! It is not Conte the one who have shown lack of respect to Juve, but the Agnelli!
Conte loves Juventus and he wants us to try to become as good as we once were, at least try ffs...
Its because of his respect for Juve that he does that, he knows better than most how good Juventus was and how it is now.
Conte isnt getting the respect he deserves from alot of fools here.
DO we really $#@!ing need to get some coach that comes here, plays wingers, dramatically fails, and set us back 4 years, to prove the massive effect of Conte ?
Ungratefull...
Indeed, you are very right on that!
So does Conte honestly think the team we have right now is not good enough to make it out of the CL groups?
He said semis at best, that we can reach amongst the first 8 teams, but not amongst the first 4 and he is 1000%
If Conte wants to stay, then he wouldn't say all the bull he does every season.
Maybe even more than he wants Juve to become better!
I dont believe that he wants to stay, but he knows we are in stall here. Our progress has been stopped!
This is as far as we can get and he hates that! Someone has to do smth about that and the only person who has the guts to do it is Conte!
He has been asking for improving 2 years now, thhe team overperforms under his guidance, with the right tools in his hands, we would have done miracles!
Its a disgrace to Fiorentina, Galata and Napoli pawning us in the market transfer that hard and rob us of players and ammounts that would have the difference.
We are wasting money like no other team in Italy, but only for mediocre players, whilst they dramatically improve only with fragments of our budget.
Conte knows the financial situation of our club, if he believed that we cant afford the players Napoli and Galata did, he wouldnt even try.
There is a characteristic lack of ambition from our manager to tolerate the incompetence of our transfer directors.
Its time to make a choise here, do we want to remain where we are, or make the next step??
When we got Marotta, we were not in Europe, had no titles and were merely in the #3-7 place, Conte did what he could with the limitations, such a poor choice would allow us to reach and is now asking from our club to make the next logical step!
Whoever does not supports him is a traitor to our cause!!
