I'm pretty sure Bayern wouldn't have won if they had bunch of Pepe's on the flanks. First priority is offence then comes defence.

We had enough chances before the goal already and after it as well. Finishing is not something you improve by changing the formation.

I do not agree with that at all. We were struggling to create real chances and we should have capitalized when Bologna were under all that pressure.

ok 1 question do you know how much would it cost to bring the quality of robben ribery muller madzukic di maria .....etc ? Can we afford it ? If we cant do you still insist that we shld do 4-3-3 just to make it more creative with gio and osvaldo on the wing ? . Dont you think they try different formations when they train ? , but i understand what your saying lack of creativity is affecting us but creativity comes at a heavy price thats why you play your best players like pogba and pirlo even though they are off form because they can suddenly CREATE that magic moment with free kicks and long shots . When was the last time osvaldo or gio did something special they are good players but not starting 11 material for juve .

Lol ....its simple when your a team with a budget you pick your best 11 and create the most effective formation . When you have unlimited money like che psg madrid etc you pick the formation then buy players accordingly like mourinho did when he sold mata , the best player of epl last season in assist.
Also madrid is currently playing a 4-3-3 with di maria in midfield with izco and illarmendi off the bench we just dont have that quality on the bench.

Well then we have to agree to disagree, but the fact remains that there have been very few to none games this season where our supossed weakness in breaking down teams that park the bus really harmed us in terms of results. Furthermore, the few times it has happened the troubles were at our back, not in the attack.

72 goals in 34 games. last season we had 71 in 38, and before that 68 in 38. what's more juventus has now won 17 league home games in a row.

Juventus's problems isnt formation, or wingers or any of that. It's carelessness born from dominating 3 seasons in a row. it's hard for any to stay motivated to win titles in a row. Most teams would struggle to stay motivated after winning the first season.

Europe this year as in champions league was just not meant meant to be if you look at the games individually against madrid chiellieni unjust red card after ronaldo dive and caceres back pass to ronaldo in reutrn leg, against gala bonucci back pass and isla sleepin on half way line after our goal at home and away the infamous ice pitch , only against nords we should have won both which we dint , so how is a formation to be responsible for lack of progress . Individual errors cannot be controlled by the coach , tactical errors can which i will openly admit to when mancini removed a winger and put on another striker to make it 3 strikers in the front we had 3 at the back so it was 1v1 in a way with i think drogba's layoff , conte dint react he should have reacted to mancini subs so thats a tactical error which did cost us .

But in all seriousness, I love our 3-5-2 and think it has been very useful for us over the season. Would like us to sign a LB and some wingers, so we would have the option to move to a 4-3-3 when need be.

What the hell are ya'll two talking about? First of all, we can play 4-3-3 if we want. Just put one of Vucinic/Tevez/Osvaldo on one wing and Gio on the other and we have enough firepower to beat the mighty Bologna.

Just watch us the first 15-20 minutes of that 2nd half and how Bologna was down on their knees. We should have killed them off right there but instead we had nothing dangorous at all. We had offence going through Ogbonna, Isla, Pirlo, Asamoah, Chiellini and Barza just passing the ball back and forth between each other until the try to find poor Gio or Llorente who were battling like 10 defenders with their backs to goal. It gets easy for Bologna because they can afford to just let our not-so-creative defenders attack them because they will never posses a threat. Can't blame those guys either because they are not paid to create offence and goals. Poor Chiellini is forced to be one of our most ball dominant players in our team at that point and that guy always looks like a headless chicken with the ball panicking the shit all the time.

Difference between 4-3-3 and 3-5-2 is that instead of Asamoah and Isla going at the defence we should have had Gio and Tevez or Vucinic going at defence from the flanks.

I have no problems with 3-5-2 if the game is even and the other team possess a threat but today we should have done something different.

I think how it works with conte - marotta is say for ex conte wants a left back and asks marotta for one , marotta then will do a market survey depending on our budget and offer conte x/y/z to choose from .Probably thats why every time asked about transfers in a press conf he says the same thing " ask marotta ".
If he were a manager as in mourinho or ferguson types he would be directly involved in the transfers .

I agree, although we could and should clearly have done better this year regardless of the formation, it wasn't the main reason, when you look at the goals we conceded.
