No different than our Champions League debacles - but I guess we don't care about UCL either. As long as we win Serie A of course, it's all that matters.
Speak for yourself mate, winning a tinpot league year and year out won't convince the likes of Vidal to stay. Most big players have their heart set on Europe

he clearly wanted to take home a 1-0 result, keeping all the players behind the ball, yet that didn't work. i doubt a 4 backline would concede 2 goals and do worse then the 6 backline as of today

That's bs and you know it. When we don't sit back we're great and we've seen it many times - against Madrid too. You do realize we played against a Serie A team tonight, right? And it was a Serie A team resting players too.

I've said this since the Copenhagen game - Conte is to blame for how our team fucks up.
Conte or not, I can't understand why we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. We were great for the first 20 minutes or so, than it's like we turned off a switch and went to choke mode; our normal selves.

For all the people making excuses that we 'didn't care', we actually did. We approached the game in the best possible way but made only few adjustments to the starting 11. I never criticized Conte earlier, but he got it all wrong in Europe this season. Every single match, bar the two matches against the Turkish amateurs and the game against Real Madrid in Bernabeu, he made mistakes. Whether that is by underestimating the opponent or trying to defend a lead, it's all a coach' fault. With this result it's going to be incredibly difficult to go through. If we continued the way we played as in the first half we would go to Florence next week with a nice advantage. However, yet again the difference between the first half and second was immense. In his first season he was able to motivate the players by half time and we would see a complete different team. This season he has his influence in a negative way.

Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love Conte and i am greatly grateful in the way he pulled this team up again but performances like these in Europe could be fatal for him next season. It all depends on next season's performance in the CL whether i would call him a failure in Europe or not.
