Lol i'm not saying that he was bad, he was vital in CL, but we lost scudetto to milan in 96, don't $#@!ing forget it[/QUOTE]

Let me get this straight, you think that Juventus under-achieved in 1996 because they lost the scudetto to Capello's great Milan even though Juve won the Champions league. But you also think this Juventus under-achieved in 2013 because they lost the Champions League to the great Bayern even though they easily won the scudetto?

Mind-blown.

Baggio was basically consdered as the biggest italian talent yet. then this boy came, and baggio was casted aside cause of the immense potential of the boy

While del piero's quality got severely crushed with that horrific knee injury, he still had a legendary career.

But pre injury del piero.... what a prodigy that was. had the potential to become the best ever.

you fail to understand how extremely competitive serie a was back then.
you fail to understand topscorers comming from lower placed teams were more often due to more counter chances, opposed to teams making the play, comming against impressively organised busses
you fail to understand in that time, getting 3 wins in a row was a HUGE achievement, and that not losing once every 5 games was exceptional.

Milan with van basten and co, is one of the 3 best teams in the history of serie a, and the entire world. They dropped a bit of quality later in the 90ties, but not that much

Buffon would be the only definitive starter in the 96 team. Pirlo is a very unique player - might or might not have adapted to the team (or rather the team adapted to him) = 50/50, Vidal would have been rotation no doubt, but isn't better than Deschamps.
Costacurta for once and if you think that Carrera, for instance, is a worse defender than Chiellini, I don't. Yet, he has 1 NT cap and Chiellini is THE starter in Italian NT.

you said that the sqaud of 96 that won cl was not a good team. you said that even he was beaten by milan, which implies he is not a good coach.
