Retardation reches new levels in this thread.

After such a long time Juventus finally appears to be heading in the right direction. A decent project is underway and competent people are running the club. Not only this but we also have a head coach with great ability and even greater ambition and determination. Exactly what Juve need right now to bridge the gap with Europe's top clubs and people already are finding the most ridiculous things to bitch about.

Get a grip and show some respect and undestanding to the people who took Juventus a long way forward.

He has said numerous times this year about the economic difficulties Italy has, he's not expecting us to be spending like PSG, City etc, however you cannot sign him the likes of Bendtner and Anelka, that's unfair.
:sergio: the only 1 player that was signed without Conte's opinion was Ziegler, stop talking that Conte is not participates in transfers discussions please

Let's be honest with this kind of players at his disposal Conte knows as well as every Juventino that we have achieved the limit. From now on it will be repeating ourselves (Being the main Scudetto contender and exiting the CL at the 1/8th or 1/4th).
The guy wants to achieve more, raising the bar will only be possible if we buy game changing players. If the club doesn't want to take that step now, he has all the rights to leave and go where they are willing to give him what he needs to deliver the best.
We have definitely not achieved the limit. Pogba and Vidal are both growing very quickly and getting better with time. Conte himself is getting better and more experienced. The team is more gelled together by playing together for a longer time. We have achieved what we achieved in those two seasons without a bloody attack. Llorente will provide a new and probably much better option upfront assuming he is the only player we buy. If we add a guy like Sanchez or even some young promising guys then we will probably become much better. If we had a better CL road (like Barca's or Dortmund's) then we'd have made it to the semi-finals if not went past that. The bayern team we are measuring ourselves against here is one that has been a work in progress for a long long time.

Lol, why would any coach make that demand? Besides, Lippi is dead material.
Nah, Lippi is the greatest ever. Him with the Cigar :touched:... He's just bored of Serie A and the things that happened in the last 7years and chose something different.

Deschamps would certainly accept coming back after WC.

Wooow, hot stuff right there. Today's press conference was very important and got a big sounding board in Italy. Now Marotta and the management are over a barrel, because no fan (at least here in Italy) would accept a Conte going away this summer, so if they can please him with the big names he wants it's ok, if no there will be some problems for them.

Conte knows that he has the upper hand, cause without him this team loses a lot of value (he's valorizing very well some players) and for sure he would have some important offers from other clubs. As i fan I'm happy because now I'm sure that the board will have to do his best to sign the most useful players, but I hope they have the possibility to do so and that Conte was aware of the club possibilities before saying that.

Curious to see if Marotta will say something about it in the pre-match in his usual interview at Sky.
