And that's the only reason he'd leave us. Because we really can't (for the foreseeable future anyway) afford these sorts of players. I just hope he has the burning desire in him to want to win at least one CL with us before he leaves.
Have faith Bro. 3-5 years and we will be busting the balls of those pesudo big clubs with oil money. We just need to follow the Bayern model, and we shall demolish all in front of us in due time :D

if he want to win CL first he need to make this team played like the 1st 6 months he started here because not even ronaldo-messi-falcao combo will make us win CL if we play that slow and passive that we ended out possessed twice against celtic.
If you really think that a high intensity team can just perform like that for the entire season, and not have a few lesser months, then you should stop posting.

 strama. Money well spent
Conte making more as a manager then back in the day as a player =p

You're still going on about the Celtic game we won $#@!ing 5-0 on aggregate?

Let it go, man.
because it's not just against celtic, that was just the icing on the top of iceberg.

honestly, did we actually deserve to win against milan in serie a this season? we played like total shit against them, complete opposite of last season.

heck, look at last match, we needed vidal miracle to win against torino :sergio: look how many of us here saying that was a fucking terribly boring match.

do you expect we or any team for that matter, to be able to win CL with such performance?

think conte needs to evaluate some of his decicion making in pre season.

one thing of note is that he should look into using 4-3-3 more. in times this season we were playing at home with three at the back when we could have used an extra forward.

of course some of it personnel issues as well. better players are needed. someone lika di maria and fit pepe offer him options.... but we really need to address our lack of threat from the wings. litch is okay, but asamoah is a total disaster going forward. if you are going to have strong tall CFs like llorente and maybe ibra it would suck not having good crossers from the wings

We cannot got a winger for 4-3-3 AND sign a cf like zlatan.

asamoah isnt a disaster, he just doesnt cross. he'll press the opponent wing back to their own box, and then pass it to the nearest CM.

which solves nothing. we have no penetration from the wings. DC is only decent player we have going forward but he sucks otherwise so yeah....

would love it if conte figures out a way to play a modfied back three.

something like

-------15-19-3
26----------
------23-21-6-----winger
-----CF-CF

this way his love bonucci can keep playing and we can sole width issue

that's harsh on asamoah. look who he plays the ball into. he occasionally gets a pretty good delivery (usually on the ground, but whatever) per game and vucinic or matri flubs it. say llorente converts some of those, then he would be the "dime master." his work rate alone justifies him in the starting 11. he can cover a lot of ground and is very strong as well. i also think he will develop more crossing skills in the offseason given some extra training time. he is a talented player.
