Thank you Conte, this has been a great journey and a vital learning experience for the near future. The team should be prepared better next year for the likes of Bayern, Barca and etc. Hopefully with 2-3 good signings next summer, we will be able to get in the semi-final at least. This whole team is a work in process, and it's just a matter of ~2 years until we transfer our dominance in Serie A to Europe, as long as the board of directors add the right pieces in the mercato with our limited budget.

He needs to grow some balls too, our approach has been so gutless this season.

In a game where you are chasing 2 goals, how the fuck can you start with 5 defenders.

It's like he didn't learn from the first game, his biggest downfall is his in game adjustement, it's like we have one plan and he wants to go with it till the end even if it's not working.
Almost intimidated to be up against such a team. Should've had the 433 tonight, but well, hindsight is 20/20.

fuk this conte..

ask for the players you need then, and stop bending tp marottas wishes.

break the bank i dont care.-
You can't use the economic gap excuse for every season that you play in the CL. It may be a fair excuse this season, but at no point during the last 90 minutes did I feel like Juve were the home team chasing a deficit of 0-2. That's how shameful our performance was tonight, completely outclassed, Bayern are a top rung team but I refuse to believe that this is the actual difference between the two teams. Marrotta cannot spend money before spending it on the attack this coming season and building depth can no longer be an excuse.

this.

where has the last early season 4-3-3 juve gone too?

the fixation with regista, unproductive marchisio, bonucci and pepe (the lack of this guy) is downright ridiculous since the CL knockouts started

whats wrong with trying to field this formation :

litch/caceres/padoin barzagli chiellini peluso/asamoah

vidal pogba asamoah

isla matri vucinic

???

it was all apparent that 3-5-2 and its gameplan had failed since against celtic :sergio:

suddenly we reverted back into capello juve :sergio:

I fear that shit happening again :scared:

Capellos juve was a borefest. We relied all on muscle and a miracle from our few individuals with skills. He also was just defensive oriented subs game in game out.
Not to mention he benched del piero like the whole year

Yep, but at what point should we stop bringing that? At what point is it still relevant? And most importantly (it also is what Cheese implied I assume), is it okay to bring that up when disillusion occurs? When it's brought into that context, it just sounds like someone wants to rest on his laurels and have an excuse for underachieving.
I think it's valid during the first CL campaign. After, it becomes less valid.

So difference between the way we play now compared to the way we played last season is clear. I'm talking the pressure, tempo and the passing. Our increased point accumulation in the league was used to justify it, and it was said the way we played then would cause burn out so quickly if we played like that all the time.

But that's how the other big Euro teams play. Why can't we do it? Can't be lack of depth, because we've been stockpiling players for years. Even so, we could try to play the same robotic way in the league and at least play 11-12 Juve in the CL.

Maybe we're just collecting more points this season because we have the championship experience and the little teams respect us a little more. But I don't think we're creating more and conceding less chances. It's no coincidence that we've lost so many games this season. I don't think any of the games that we did lose we were ones we were close to deserving a win.

p.s. my post feels a little scattered, but I just woke up from a grumpy nap.

Conte: 'We woke up from the dream'

“I think that the best team went through, which they proved in both legs. This side has been working together for a long time and always reaches the latter stages. They were created to win, so I don’t think it’s absurd to say this is the best Bayern team of all time."

this one of my biggest curiosity about this team and it's current development...

why did we abandon the better play style that in theory should give us better result, one that we actually already experienced with? and replaced with an inferior one? had that was just temporary tactical flexibility, I can accept it, but this total abandonment?

the stamina and pepe excuse is downright bullshit, laughable and pathetic.
