Had it been 2-1 and I would have disagreed but your right. They still have a cushion to attack. Keeping the ball is the most important part and passing with intensity before they close you down, which they did ever so well today. Also note how much were predictable with Buffon passing to his wingbacks often. Not that we dont do that pretty much every game but bayerns winger were very quick to close that gap the sooner the ball was passed with schweinsteiger or gustavo pressing hard.
There needs to be more secrecy in the way we line up the papers guessed it right yet again. The 3-5-2 is clearly rubbish against a 4-2-3-1 so we are going to need to pull a rabbit out of the hat, and we don't need the papers telling everyone what it is days before the match to give Bayern time to prepare. The only way we have any hope of getting back into the tie is by surprising Bayern so much it throws them.

They suffocated our options expertly and without the forwards winning any aerial duels against the massive CB pairing there was just no foothold on the game.
I cannot really see how this is going to change for the next game, were not likely to change systems of our play when we already are playing to our strengths.

we must use 2 wide players , one is giovinco, there isn't no point to use 3 defenders next week , we must score and we must press them on the flanks, don't give them the extra player and dominate the game again.I don't think that our middle is so bad , but the 3-5-2 made them to underperform against this team

i think that is better to have 4 players on the flanks, 2 fb and 2 wingers, so that their fullback to have limited pass options to the center so that our midfield to have more steals , it was obvious that having 2 players against 4 on the flanks and the zonal marking with double funding didn't worked
Thats what fukin irks me. We were dispatched like fodder. We presented othing on the table and just let them make fun of ourselves. It was shameful and the whole world saw that. Its frustrating, because deep inside... we know this team was capable of showing them a fight in their ground...

sort of 4-3-3 with vidal slotting in RW. this clueless, out couched talk is getting over the board now. the manner that early goal was conceded and the fact that Kroos going out of the game did bayern more good with their width on both side, I'm not convinced their coach Heynckes had it all planned either.
