"There will always be moments going against your team and episodes in favour of the club. However, there's no way that Lazio's goal is not getting as much attention in the media as a decision that benefits Juventus. We need balance," Conte told Corriere dello Sport.

"Juventus are just like any other team. It's seemingly all fine when a decision goes against us, but all hell breaks loose when something happens in our favour."

The successful coach then went on to discuss the title race, and stressed that it will not be easy for Juve to hold on to the Scudetto.

"The championship has always been an open contest and we know we must fight all the way.

"There are top quality sides who can hold their own such as Napoli, Lazio, Inter and Milan. It won’t be easy to retain last season’s title."

When we had a run of bad performance but were winning we ended that period with a home loss to Inter (our first loss in 50 matches). After that loss it took us three games to peak, Pescara, Nordsjaelland and Lazio afterwards. Even if Lazio ended in a draw we reached proper maturity to face Chelsea. The loss to Milan came right after but I am all with giving it excuses, CL still at stake, drunk/tired after the Chelsea match, circumstances, etc.
We went afterwards to do a great run, broke a record and play almost to our potential. Just before Christmas though we started showing signs of sloppiness and I wasn't able to give it a reason, could be arrogance, could be exhaustion due to a busy autumn, could be other things. However, our last three matches our sloppiness has taken over and the bad performance is nothing like that period before Inter, it is of a different character, a worrying one and it reminds me a lot of the epic fall with Del Neri.

Time to bring back the 433.

I expect our LWB to be one. You also have to look at the circumstances these assists came.
I'll never understand why Italian managers love to turn CM's into wide players. It's been some sort of fetish over the past few years.

But nevermind, I do understand it. They have their hearts set on certain systems.

Well, maybe it's time to give that up.

We have a fit Giovinco that would be MUCH better in the left, just as Vucinic (when fit) will be.

Both can battle out who will start in that role. But hear this: Either one of them in the left of the 433 will take this teams attack up a couple notches. The 352 just isn't working. Gio should improve his finishing but I believe in the 433 he would start being more of a threat in his assists. Same goes to Mirko with each scoring the occasional brilliant goal. They are producers, not goal scorers and we aren't utilizing their strengths in the 352

Conte must have his heart set on quite a few systems, considering he has gone from 4-4-2/4-2-4 to 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 in the space of two seasons.

You have to admit though that he insists on a 3-5-2 when we don't have any convenient left back.
To be fair to him though, even with playing a system which lacks a proper LWB, we were dominating the league. It's recently that our form has dropped. I fully expect him to change something soon.

The 3-5-2 is not losing us games. We are winning those games and commit mental errors. Do you guys actually think critically before you post your ideas?

We are beating Parma 1-0 and they can't cross half. Then Vucinic makes a mental mistake and fortune has it that their forward is in a perfect spot to make a run. And he finishes perfectly.

We are beating Sampdoria 1-0. But we are playing sloppy because we don't have all our lineup. They get a shot. RIGHT AT OUR GOALIE. And it goes in.

How does 4-3-3 fix that? Does Buffon say, "Ok. We're playing 4-3-3, time to stop this shot right at me!" or does everyone expect the 4-3-3 to give us 3 and 4 goal leads or something?

And all these goals have come on Chiellini's side. He's hurt. He'll still be hurt in a 4-3-3. Bonucci in a 4 man back line is utter trash. He's worse than Caceres in a 3 man as a LCB.

What will our 4 man back line be? The left side will be Bonucci and who? Peluso? De Ceglie? That's awful. I'd rather stick with the 3-5-2 that is giving us leads and keeping possession and hope our focus returns.

I mentioned it in another post, we had a terrible form before losing to Inter as well but we were getting the points one way or another. A few times because of referee help, a few times because we were lucky. Recently we have dropped form much worse than before and we are not getting lucky any more. This is also being fair.
