explain how was frank de boer the big secret behind the dutch team who almost won the world cup? what was the secret exactly? did it ever occur to you that Conte was somewhat influential for the Italian NT in the summer? i dont buy this whole Conte is a manager for the future, that doesn't even make sense since Conte is the present he is presently winning matches and trophies breaking records, he was the future when he was leading Bari and Siena to Serie A. and in fairness to de boer i hardly rate the eredivisie as a league for the tactically able, as i said before someone like Zeman and Ranieri would most likely thrive in that league if steve maclaren who was sacked by england and nottingham f*cking forrest has had success there too.
hè motivated players to work their ass of for each other. last Sumner you could see how the dutch squad missed Frank. beside that hé was leading almost all trainingssession and also was very active during last Summer. so you do think you don't need to have a tactic to win dutch league :lol2: sorry Andy but that is nonsense. ditch league is Shit in quality but that doesn't mean every idiot can win the league. frank de boer could had won the title also for.juve last year we don't know what ranieri and zeman would do in Holland just like we don't know what frank would do in Italy.

i have explained many times about dutch league and football and Ajax. onze again i don't doubt conte did amazing last year but calling frank de Boer a clown is just a joke. hè works with kids who need to learn anything. ever seen a video of him during practices. conte works with topplayers. you think conte needs to motivate pirlo, buffon etc.

they are both in different circumstands and doing amazing. and you can't deny anything of that.

1 name - steve maclaren

one of the most tactically inept managers around, he flopped with england, nottingham forrest, almost got wolfsburg relegated ffs, so if he can walk it in holland then that is enough said.

2nd point, well clearly the likes of ferrara, zaccheroni, del neri had problems motivating them

the truth is, Serie A is one of if not the most tactically difficult league in the world and holland is about as tactical as the 3rd division of the english league

comparing de boer is like comparing villas boas at porto with Conte of today, is he really that special one he reaches a more taxing league? as i said before Conte is already hitting the peaks

And the PL always want dutch players from the so called 3rd division :touched: or you never heared of Bergkamp,Overmars, vBronckhorst,vNistelrooij, Stam, vd Sar Robben, VDV oh and wait let's not forget Robin van Persie who is owning the shitty Premier league week in week out.

And Steve mcLaren, that's the only thing you can come up with?

Twente won the league that year indeed and did mc claren won it last year? no he actually gave the championship away
I think ajax was around a 14 game winning streak last year which sealed the deal. Conte did well with juve and before that he proofed nothing too. Don't forget that it is de Boer his first job as a manager. And I do believe Barca was interest last year to have him as their manager.

2th point
I believe pirlo played at milan at that time
and buffon was injured or played good. just cos del neri was dumb to play with melo and marchisio as lm  was more the problem we finished 7th,

and for your interest
re watch
manchester united vs ajax febuary 2012
and milan - ajax and specially the game before that game in the eredivisie
nec - ajax december 2010
then you will see what de Boer did with ajax

You make it sound like they all play at the same time there. over the course of 10 years, with good intervall it brings a class player forward, who never really stays long. considering the offensive minded nature of the eredivisie, i can imagina a coach thats very good at setting a defence, to have good succes in it.

Steve mclaren is one example, van gaal is a better one

van gaal beeing a very good coach, took provincial mid table team AZ alkmaar to domminate the eredivisie for a while, despite not having shiny names like the traditional top teams over there

I find principled coaches interesting to watch and admire them to varying extents, but I don't think I'd want one coaching my team.

The rigid determination to stick to what they believe is the right way to play would make me distinctly uncomfortable.

Much prefer having someone more pragmatic and flexible.
Oh yeah, while having respect for such coach, i would rather have one that manages to adapt to his opponents strenght if needed, and is good at immediatly correcting tactics during the game

Conte never changes tactics before game
we always play 3-5-2, witha high pressure and try to have ball as much as possible :shifty:

again you missed what i said, i was saying that the dutch league doesn't even tactically compare to Italy, the dutch league probably best compares to the english 3rd division, i wasn't talking about the quality or the players produced. stop bringing in irrelevant points to this argument.
