He should not have taken the plea bargain, Juve manager or not, you cannot put a price on your integrity. I know it's not an admission of guilt blah blah blah, but it's the perception that it gives to others, that he is a cheat. Conte should have stood up and fought.

Conte is not stupid, he is also proud, he has a very good reason to make that option.
Maybe he has sensed smth through the attitude of his prosecutors and the way the media presented it...

I dont think that he would back down easily. Anyways, it will be very interesting to see what will happen to Bonucci, as he will take the proud path!

I think we are all making this a bigger deal than it actually is. Nobody is even going to remember the 3 month ban come the end of the season, and instead will only be cfocussed on where Juve are in the standings at the time. The CL will itself be a huge distraction for most of the fans to be thinking snout anything else. And if we end up winning the league, or get far in the CL I don't think anybody's image will be tarnished. In ths case too, its simply a matter of lying low and cutting our losses so we can get down to doing our job. It applies to Conte too. Another Serie A title will help him scale some decent heights as Juve coach, rather than waste time worrying he'd be called a cheater for life because that simply isn't true. His projection and personality have been in the limelight in a big way last year, and will be again, in the year ahead, 3 months on the sidelines is not going to be able to overwhelm the opinions he has created as an undefeated title winning coach. Let's just get this over with and move on.

You have a point, let's just hope that Conte's absence won't influence our standing in the league.

Oh really, thanks, I had no idea that Antonio Conte didn't give a shit what I thought. Let's all never express an opinion about anything.

I fail to see how bringing more negative publicity (and we will once again be branded match rigger regardless of what any of you think) as well as not managing us for 1/3 of a season is in 'the best interest' of Juventus.

FIGCs lapdog, roll over Juve, there's a good boy.

damn! this is hard  but i guess there was no conspiracy this time against you guys....for what its worth i think conte was guilty for what he's accused of....and i would rather see him not going for the plea and take the hit.

is this all official though?

He decided to take the plea bargain, hence getting 3 months.

He'd risk being banned for one year if he was found guilty in court (90% chance since you are guilty till proven innocent in sporting trial)

Besides, when Conte returns, he will be a great morale booster!
And he will return in a very decisive moment, the team can go in autopilot for a couple of months, without much fuss, considering the current situation.
When Conte returns, we will have quite an added bonus!
