Says who? I saw them missing bigger chances, it's a lame excuse to blame the ref for not giving a penalty, need something extra? How about scoring a goal when you get 5/6 decent scoring chances?
I'm not blaming the referee, Pat.
I was saying that it happens that you dominate the game and miss many chances, so you need incidents like Pirlo PK or the PK against Siena to win those matches!
And hey, Had not Parma player kicked Pirlo it might have been a goal!!! so I blame the referee for a chance that could have got us the 3 points.
Criticizing the team performance, is another thing that I wasn't talking about...

Always blame yourself first and in this case the team. The Parma player barely touched Pirlo, if he didnt fell like he got shot 7x times then he might got a penalty. Btw a penalty doesnt garantees a win tho.

Check my last post and you'll see that I said "PK might have been a goal" :D
And I said I'm not blaming the referee. I did blame the team and coach...but there are situations that you need such an incident to get the goal.
Also for the PK, it's clear...there was a contact in the area, so for me it's a PK.

Peace :D

We clearly aren't getting the same treatment as everyone else and ref's are refusing us pens, but at the end of the day we shouldn't need pens to beat fucking Parma and Siena. We are fucking Juventus, not Cesena. We should be killing these teams.

True, but if the refs did their jobs we'd probably be +6 points (minimum) better off by now. Yeah our performance sucked, but it's pretty infuriating when refs are too fucking scared to award us penalties.

I see no harm in what our directors and Conte are doing, it's a win-win situation: if we get fucked by refs again we say told you so, if they treat us fairly we say it worked, that's how it should've been all along.

If our opponents are fucked on our behalf

Actually, the worst thing now would be us getting a soft penalty vs peelan, thne they'll all be like

fuck em!

Not playing the devil's advocate here or anything, but worth keeping in mind that the one penalty that we did get was a joke of a decision. Red-card and penalty and opponents ending up with a player in goal.
I'd like to requote this from yesterday and remind everyone that Ref's have also gone in our favor.

We should not have opened the can of worms that we did. :sergio:

That's because we should not need penaltys to win a game, we are not Milan nor Inter. Ofcourse we are right to claim one but if our strikers finished theire chances there was no talk about penalties whatsoever.
The way Giacc tried to control the ball forced him to loose his balance. There wasn't any real contact.

And if our strikers did THEIR JOBS by finishing of the MILLIONS OF CHANCES we see them get every game, we might have 8 fewer draws that we do now.
Conte:"As far as style and elegance are concerned, I don't need to take lessons from Lo Monaco, Donadoni and Ranieri"
That.Was.Awesome.

How is it a win-win situation exactly? LoL, how are we in a winning situation by saying I told you so? Where does that get us? Do we get the magical 2 points we missed yesterday because our strikers didn't score? Or will it suddenly make our offense score their chances? This isn't a win win situation.

You guys are totally missing the points here.

We can't be putting more pressure on the refs like this. They are already scared to give us a PK for fear of a huge media backlash, other clubs screaming Juve favoritism all over again because of 2006.

I am telling you guys, we are seriously asking for it. Who do you think the media is going to take sides on? Juve? Or everyone else against us which is exactly what I said would happen and is happening?

The only blatant PK I recall was that handball a few games ago that was right in front of the ref. Ref's miss that kind of shit all the time. We were given a token penalty as well and of course no one here would EVER scream equality for the other team that got screwed on that call.

LoL...of course, when it happens to Juve it's wrong, when it happens to all the other clubs it isn't.

Conte 'I don’t need elegance lessons’
By Football Italia staff

Antonio Conte has responded to the growing number that have criticised his outburst about refereeing after Juventus’ midweek match in Parma.

After the 0-0 draw at the Ennio Tardini that saw the Bianconeri have two penalty claims turned down, Conte angrily suggested that referees were 'too afraid’ to award the club spot-kicks this term.

A number of figures in the game have since questioned Conte’s choice of words, including Inter Coach Claudio Ranieri, Parma sporting director Pietro Leonardi and Coach Roberto Donadoni and weekend adversary Vincenzo Montella.

In his Friday address to the assembled Press, Conte took time to re-examine his initial outburst and made some readjustments and clarifications.

“I ask for forgiveness on what I said about Sebastian Giovinco,” he began, in light of claiming that the Juve-co-owned star had dived on Wednesday evening for a penalty claim at the other end of the pitch.

“My words were not right and therefore I apologise, but my outburst referred only to the game against Parma, and I vented calmly. In that game I saw a particular atmosphere and I just pointed it out.

“Parma also played a great game. We just need to score some goals. By analysing the statistical data, in fact, we know that our game is productive. It is when, in episodes, we do not find the goal. I’m sure against Catania we will be playing without the same conditions.

“We have grown up in a hurry. We have come to be regarded as challengers to Milan and this fills us with pride. We must now show that we can maintain a high level of competitiveness.

“What bothered me? As far as style and elegance are concerned, I don’t think I need to take lessons. Everyone has their own way of doing and being.

“Ranieri’s words? He finally says something that continues the discussion. He says that he hopes those who raise their voice don’t influence the referee designators.

“But then, Ranieri is afraid then that there are influences, so I then ask, are they there or not? His answer leaves the door open.”

The Coach, so far unbeaten in his Turin tenure, eventually turned his attention to the weekend’s home fixture with Catania.

“Tomorrow will be a beautiful game with Catania, the best team will win. But if there is a penalty in the 90th minute, in favour of Catania, it will be right that it is given, as it should be given in favour of Juventus, for the tranquillity and peace of all.

“I do not want to incite crowds. I spent my time as a player saying that I was indomitable but fair. Let’s leave the bar talk and just talk on the field and may the best team win.

“Then each can draw their conclusions, but my concepts are clear. I just want to stir up the Juve supporter to buy their ticket because we need their support at the Juventus Stadium.”

:D

Damn what a long article.
