The 90's Juve players almost all have this grinta and winning mentality. Conte, Montero, Tacchinardi, Ciro(too bad he was inexperienced), Biri, Vialli etc.. I wish Alessio was Conte's assistant.

Conte is the type of man I would love to have in the dressing room. Montero too.
:tuttosport:

We need to get Montero back into this club in some fashion. Scout, assistant, team psychologist. :D

It should also give them the hunger to try their very best when they get the chance due to suspension or injury.
I don't know how you can be motivated and try to give your best, when you know that you play just because someone else is injured/suspended and not because your coach truly belives in you.And when this else is back from his injury/suspension you will be back on the bench or in the stands.

Where do you get these inside information at? Speculation upon specultion, how do you know these guys don't give their best in training and for that they get their place in the starting lineup? Everyone is fighting for theri places, I don't think there are positions that are set in stone, besides Pirlo's

I really like Conte so far, he brings in character and most importantly results for us. But what worries me a lot is how he doesn't really uses his subs much and the bench is useless. If he manages to create an efficient rotational system I think he can turn himself into a legendary coach, so far he's got it all but that. Hopefully he'll get that done asap.

Hero, for what he's done to the team. Brilliant in keeping faith with his team and not changing the team around in the second half. Went up a few more notches in my esteem last night. Coaching moment of the year.

Besides his somewhat over the top sideline antics, the only thing I dont like is the few minutes for DP. It\s hard to find a middleground there though and not sure last night was the best game for DP to give a contribution, it being a very physical and high paced game.
