We can easily beat Napoli , Inter, Lazio , Roma etc...like many have said its the Chievo's , Genoa's . Bologna's we should be worried about.
Come on, we can't easily beat those teams, that's wishful thinking. Napoli can easily humiliate us home and away, Palermo and Udinese are tough teams, Inter, Roma and Lazio are always unpredictable.

This theory was acceptable when we had firstly promoted from Serie B because we were super motivated against big teams but now that a few years have passed, it's a clear sign of yet another disappointment if we can't have our players motivated to do their best against smaller teams. It's a serious weak point which must be addressed and fixed as soon as possible.

Well "easily" is an exaggeration, I agree. But the point remains: teams like Inter, Lazio, Roma, Napoli etc. will play a game that allows us to get more chances on goal, because they're not defending all the fucking time. The smaller teams, like Chievo, Bologna, Catania etc. will always be a hell of a lot more frustrating for a squad like ours. Simply because we lack the proper tools to penetrate their 9-men barricade-defences on a regular basis.

well they have easily better strikers that can rape our poor ass defence 7 days a week... that is no argument...

well our team is extra motivated against inter and milan.... but that hasn't be true for napoli palermo udinese and co....

i can't believe it..2 weeks ago after milan's game people were praising conte and some people predicted him to be our Wenger..

right now he's being bashed and all those talks about being hired only because he earns too little and how qualified he is..it all started again

It's really stupidddd to make any judgments whether positive or negative, until January "At the very least!"

Look, league titles are won against the small teams, capiche?

The reason we haven't won shit post-Calciopoli is that we can't kill off the Chievo's, Bologna's, Catania's, Cagliari's etc. on a regular basis.

Is there even a point in arguing about this? It's there for all to see, and based on fact, that this is our problem. Our problem isn't that we can't beat Milan, Inter, Lazio, Roma etc., because we always pick up a good amount of points from playing those teams.

It's not "inexcusable" that we're not beating the small teams, because our problem is that we don't have the necessary tools to beat them regularly.

Do you see a Zlatan in our squad? Do you see a Rooney? a Cavani?

All I see is a Mirko, a Pepe, a Marchisio, a Krasic, a Vidal etc.

Fine players, sure, but not winners.

well i think we heard enough of it (del neri/ferrara and co)
let's be honest this squad is mediocre at best and we have a coach who is well let s say unproven. you can argue about how good conte really is... but what this team needed was a real wc coach to begin with. we just can hope that we get lucky and somehow qualify for the cl.... with some better players and maybe conte gets better each year we can have a shot at the scudetto in some years.

after the game today, and after all the previous games, i think that we can pretty much see which players should be starters in which position...... Today, Vucinic became livelier when he was switched to LW, so its either him or Elia at LW.... When it comes to RM, the choice is between Krasic and Pepe, you name it..... The strikers should be Matri and DP \ Quag......The defence?? Im affraid Chiellini at LB and Bonucci and Barzaglie as CB's is our best defence that we have......

To those who's saying we tried the 4-3-3 we never did try that properly, In this setup the attacking trio are about attacking and not defending if you keep on playing players like Pepe and Krasic who can't beat their markers and can't score, it will be like the chievo game where we created nothing, we should play something like this Vucinic-Matri-Elia/Quag and let them worry about Attacking not playing as FB.

well sherlock i never argued against that..... you just said its easy for us beating teams like inter roma and co...
of course you win the league against the small teams because their are way more small teams than big teams albert einstein.
only because inter and co doesn't sit back means we will find it easy to win against them... maybe we have some more chances on goal but we could easily concede some more... these types of games are mainly won because of some extra motivation/form on that day....
and even if we have look good in the past years doesn't mean we will do good again.

I agree. We didn't use the 4-3-3 one single time this season, it was a 4-5-1, which obviously didn't work.

Conte needs to show that he has balls and use Quag-Matri-Vucinic

it's not about winning against big or small teams cause we have won/lost against them...
its about consistency... when ever we play a good game(big or small) it is followed by 3 bad ones...
