He is aware of the fact our defense was the worstly calibrated defense in serie A
And our team needs time to recover the long time we were abused and raped by no ones, who could easily exploit our greatest weakness.
Conte is trying really hard to improve our morale and help our team to find confidence.
His post match comments reflect that and only that.
It is painfully obvious, by the way he did and did not, criticise the performances, of some, certain players.
It is essential for our players to believe in our defensive solidarity, stop worrying about the big bad hole in their back and thrive onwards with confidence.
We have a huge ammount of creative options upfront.
No other team in serie A has such an abundance of options.
So this is not our priority atm.
Conte wisely builds from the back onwards, we needed those clean sheets more than a couple of points.
As the building progress is slow and progressive, new elements and tweaks need time to dig in.
Thats why, despite Conte's ability to adapt vs diferent formations and opposition,
he need to keep the tweaking, in a conservative pace, so that the players can follow.
The decision made on Krasic was wise, because this is the decision of the season and we should not rush it.
If we drop Krasic now, we drop him for good and this will make us suffer in the long run.
Once this matter is settled and he is assimilated or dropped, we will try the Elia card.
Krasic is an investment/asset, we would rather not lose soft heartily, as he is fairly tought to replace, as we have seen in the past transfer markets...
For the moment we should be thankful that we finally can dominate smaller teams and can defend goalless draws.
