Conte: 'Juventus have a soul'

Antonio Conte was “satisfied and pleased” with the 10-man Juventus performance despite their 1-1 home draw with Bologna.
The Bianconeri lost their 100 per cent record in what was expected to be an easy tie against the rock bottom Rossoblu.

“It’s a shame we didn’t get the victory, but I am satisfied and pleased with what the lads showed tonight,” said a very croaky Conte who had lost his voice during the game.

“You can see the team has a soul. We played for 50 minutes with 10 against 11 and conceded from a set play, not allowing any other real chances from Bologna.

“I compliment the players and it’s a pity we dropped two points along the way, but we carry on along our path.”

Mirko Vucinic got the goal, but also two yellow cards for dissent and a pointless tackle in midfield on Archimede Morleo.

“We will analyse the things that went well and those that went badly. It can be unfair to speak in the heat of the moment,” continued Conte.

“After the last two Juventus seasons, we still have to work on self-confidence and that is a lot of the work we have to do here.

“I am happy with the performance of Milos Krasic, but he or any of the players are not in a test situation. I expect everyone to give their best when called upon.”
Class act

Conte was one of the biggest factor for our draw today.

Not only with his shitty subs, in my opinion all of them wrong, but also for maintaining utter crap like Marchisio and Pepe, both of them less than useless; they were actually disrupting the team's game.

Also, he was the responsible for letting a guy like De Ciegle play, a guy who is far from being good enough to wear a Juventus' jersey, and his stupidity resulted in the goal suffered.

And Conte is NOT the responsible for the difference in the team's attitude, something we hadn't seem in years. I'm pretty sure it's the new stadium atmosphere, crowded and with the public very close to the pitch. This new stadium will do wonders for Juventus.

Spare the BS and look at my avatar, i ve been saying that Ital Juve is our priority and Conte a pawn to apply it since June.
FFS since June, all the decisions made on the transfer market was around this thing and i ve been explaining why, no we see this is applied, this is not a theory anymore, this is a reality!
Italian player are favored because of their nationality, here, now, we do not opt for other non Italian options, despite some shows of mediocre performances, from some certain players. This is a fact, undeniable!

This also explains our stance on the transfer on some certain matters... (Melo, Alex, Zeglier, Bonucci etc)

This has nothing to do with performnances, but a general stance, a stance that cannot be confirmed, because only now we have a pattern in our hands.
I would have said the same, regardless of the result, just like i ve been doing in the past 6 years...

Of course the decision will affect the performances in the long run, so the matter at hand primarily applies to them, not our current situation.
Bla bla bla

Come back to me when you have something original to say besides your weird theories on nationalism and our transfer policy.

some of the posts here have been purely idiotic to say the least, fickle! the ones about being conte being a nationalist etc... is simply absurd, i've never read such pure bullshit in my life. If you want to complain about something, try joining the inter forum, then you might have a valid reason to bitch and whine right now.

theories??
AA said that we will focus at building a team with the priorities set at Italian core and spectacle, in order to bring the Italian fans back to the stadium and start selling tickets.

Thats exactly what he has been saying and doing since calciopoli, every coach and player we have signed and every decision it was taken, respected this plan.
What theories and conspiracies you are talking about, this is how it is and it shouldnt have been, this is why we will not become competitive, unless we change priorities and strategy.

I have explained in great detail what this means and why, imo, it is destined to fail.
History has already proven me correct far too many times already for the past 6 years.

Quality is still sacrificed for quantity and Nationality and essence is still sacrificed for empty promises and unrealistic chances.
We suffer for the same reasons each and every year, it is you who needs to come up with smth solid and original...

Conte is obviously great at motivating his players which is extremely important. But the frustration is that we could be going much better. His subs were way off and the team he chose in the first place put us at a disadvantage. If he starts Marchisio again I'll spew all over my monitor.
apart from marchisio who i also don't want to watch playing,i cannot say i could agree with you.look,we were down to 10 men,we had total control ofthe game, bologna only had the goal chance and they score,we were unlucky not to later on and it ended in a draw,BUT, how can you be so sure, that if conte put elia or esti or anyone else for that matter we'd still dominate play, the reason we did dominate is because of conte's choices.and personally i thought vidal had to play LB after what we saw from de ceglie.the kid could've cost us even the point with his uselessness

How are you so sure the other way? Also what makes you think they are 100% ready. I think we will see some new faces Sunday with the short week

you are right i can't be sure, what i am sure is we did play amazing!and if that 82% ball possesion is correct it's sick!!we had great chances just didn't score.you can't always win,i don't get what's the problem!
it's not like pre-calciopoli we used to win scudettos unbeaten,or without losing any points.
we played great, but were unlucky.that's what i get from today

If you don't like that Juve might buy Italians/field more Italians in the future, go fucking support your local team. Because in the end, this is an ITALIAN team and it's only natural.

I don't want Juve to be the Inter of Serie A.

However, I'm WITH benching Pepe and the under performers for Vidal, Elia and whatever comes next.
