Yep. I liked him, he was a decent backup.

Much better than our butterfly janitor.
Pepe has 3 times his workrate, though. I'm not saying Pepe is a gifted player, but workrate counts for something. Pepe is a pain in the ass, not just to the fans, but to the players he's directly opposing on the field, due to his insane workrate. And sometimes, he gets the passing right, like he did when we scored, and sometimes, he scores goals.

I'm not saying he should be a starter, but useful? Definitely.

Pepe was useles in attack. He is winger for Christ sake, he needs to beat his markers, not just defend, we have fullbacks for that. Pepe had 0 out of 3 driblings succesfull, 1 out of 7 crosses, it's bad.
I hope that's just sarcasm, because I recall Pepe had beaten his man at least once in this game. :D

a lot of mistakes from our coach :
-not using elia as a starter
-not using vidal as a starter
-not getting estigarribia in the first 22
-changing vucinic with vidal leaving us with only one striker
-using pepe two times in a row

Talent counts more. I agree talent without workrate is useless. The best example is Addriano while he played for merda, but just workrate without talent won't get you far.

I take it you have been on the Juve training field lately?

Yes, talent counts a hell of a lot more, and like I said, I don't see Pepe as first 11-material for Juve, but I wouldn't go as far as to call him useless. This is where you and I disagree, I suppose.

Fair enough, and I called him useless in attack, defensively he is good.

A lot of monday morning coaching by people who aren't in training and see what the coach sees. As of right now were top of Serie A with two straight victories. So far Comte has been vindicated in his decisions. If we were 0-2 and not 2-0 I could see the complaining

Antonio Conte insists it is still “too early” to talk about the Scudetto despite two consecutive Juventus victories.

The Bianconeri are top of the table following a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Siena this afternoon.

It was not an easy game, which I knew would be the case,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

Siena are organised, close down well and go on the counter. We did well to control the tempo, have patience and strike at the right moment.

“It was a well-worked goal with Emanuele Giaccherini, Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri combining to score. The victory was deserved.

With just two rounds played, awaiting Napoli-Milan this evening, only Juve, Udinese and Cagliari still have a 100 per cent record, so the Bianconeri can be considered Scudetto contenders.

It is too early to talk about these things. We have a lot of work to do.”

Conte made changes this time round and adopted closer to a classic 4-4-2 system, with Vucinic partnering Matri.

It doesn’t matter who plays, as I make my choices to always look for the win. Milos Krasic was on the bench because he is still coming off an injury. He would’ve come on had Matri picked up any problems.”

Two seasons ago we had five straigt wins, and we all know how that ended, but still I see lot of improvements. Players attitude, fighting spirit, playing as a unit, all that improved. After 10-15 games we'll see the the real picture of the team.
