a bit off topic but do you think Del Neri would of got fired if we made champions league? Obviously its early but we can see the type of football Conte wants to play and what type of players he wants. Obviously with winning titles and consistent CL play the players available for purchase will only get better. So seeing how we played are first game with an attacking style and ball moving football against a team we seem to suck balls against made me think shit Im so glad we didnt make CL because I do not think the board would of fired Del Neri because he would of reached the teams objective and we would still be playing that horrible kick and run football which who knows what players would of came in. Floaccari maybe lol. Anyways again I know its early but we can obviously see the changes Conte has already made and im happy with what I see. It finally looks like we have a solid base to work off of and I just (and I am literally) pray to god he can instil that winning, confidence and strong mentality we need to not make stupid costly mistakes that we did last season and win those games against the Parmas, Chievos, Sienas and especially those fucks from Palermo and Napoli.

Conte want's to try to copy the old style of play in his days and they bought the players to make that happen. One of the first things he said was: "Do not play with long ball's and don't play the ball back to Buffon but keep it into play". This is a great example he want's to dominate like in the old days and you're right that it's a gift from above that Del Neri didn't make the champions league

So read on tuttosport that Conte has closed training to the public and media from today until Saturday. He is apparently working on very imperfection that happened last game and wants no one to see what tactical schemes they are working on. No video no nothing aloud on the grounds. He is doing what Juventus use to do back in the 90's. This to me is excellent news. Its hard not to praise what Conte has done already and whether this season is a total success or not Just in 4 months since hes been with Juve I have seem more progress then in the last 4-5 years.

IM not 100% sure because my reading Italian isnt the best and i translated it as well but still doesnt make 100% sense what it means but La Stampa reported Conte is planning on using The same line up except Vucinic is in instead of Matri and Grosso is to replace PDC. I dont see this info very reliable considering isnt only Friday and Conte has closed training to all media and fans. Anyways heres the link maybe someone can translate it alot better and tell me if im wrong or right.

Lets not make any premature conclusions here. If we play badly next game, everyone will say: "yeh i knew he is too inexperienced to coach Juve".

Good first game. Thats all we can say right now. I remember people saying positive things about Ferrara and Del Neri at around the beginning of the season too.

Way too early to judge considering he's been in charge for only 1 competitive game. Good first game and good style of football, but we need that to continue. Ciro had a just as impressive start to the season

It's not reliable cause indeed it's only friday and Conte isn't gone give the formation untill sunday 14 pm.

True, I remember when Diego and melo both scored goals in the first game people thought we're going to win the league that season and we ended up 7th.

True, it's still early to judge him, but just because we won't win the scudetto this season doesn't mean he's not the right man. As we are still a couple of world class players away from being genuine title contenders, Conte should not be sacked just because we end up with "zero tituli" again. But I fully expect his ass to bring us to the CL, and I think he's good enough for it. But you're right, it's too early to judge, and time will tell.

What IS a fact, though, is that he's already made a huge (positive) impact on the team morale. And as far as his tactics goes, they seem pretty exciting to me. We're all about attacking football now, and he likes to dominate games. In contrast, Delneri wanted us to sit back and play counter-attack as if we were freakin' Bologna. Very provincial.

As for that last part, I think fans should allow themselves to be happy about this, despite the fact that it's still too early to judge the coach overall.
