Take it easy already. Have you NOT EVER seen some of these TIM Trophy matches throughout the years? The correlation between this nonsense and the Serie A season is virtually zero... which, in your terminology, means it don't mean shit. So settle down a bit.
What is your opinion on our squad at the moment? I haven't seen you comment on this subject recently.

Of course, we do need a new CB and LW but I think we can do well.

I will tell u what I think. With a new CB and LW, depending on who we get, we might actually finish 3'rd. It's a big ask though, as there are too many ifs and buts, and I feel Milan and Inter are both far ahead of us, with Napoli still being superior, and Roma potentially able to surprise.

If we don't get a LW and new CB, then 4'th might even be beyond our reach!

Roma looks extremely poor at the moment, from what I have seen(especially in their 3-0 defeat to Valencia).

Lazio will be a bigger threat than Roma as they now have a good poacher(Cisse).
Roma are always shaky at the beginning of the season, particularly in pre-season and the first few weeks of Serie A. However, they are strong closers, the complete opposite of us. Lazio are an unknown, but I don't see them finishing higher than 5'th.

Udinese looked extremely good against Arsenal, so thats yet another team that might end up ahead of us.

We need to have an exceptional season with very few injuries (specially for the wingers, we hardly have anyone in that position) to finnish above all these teams.

Without Sneijder & Eto'o, I can't see Inter being far ahead of us.
With Etoo gona they will be lacking and with their need for some big cash I can see them yielding Sneider for big money too

They will need even more than what they will get to replace Sneider and Etoo who are two of the best players in Serie A

Did you somehow in your imagination see me saying "OMG WE'LL WINNNN THE SCUDETTO OMG WE'RE THE BEST!!" ??
I said we were very impressive only last night, and I also said that against Betis that we were pure crap

my 2nd line starts by IF, and it's true, if we play every match like we did last night this team will go far. I haven't seen a Juve with pace and spirit since 2006 except for a few exceptional times.

Time will tell if we play 38 finals this season Naggar, istead of 4 finals and 34 piece of shit games that make you want to gouge out your eyes to avoid seeing another failed attack result getting raped by Lecce.

I know we won't. and until now I believe we'll finish 4th, but I can't help getting hopeful every summer, afterall Juve got us used to being always 1st

With a CB, playing 4-3-3 I think we would just miss out on 3rd myself, this 4-2-4, if the weakness in midfield becomes exploited regularly, we'll be lucky to finish 5th.

I have full faith in Conte and his massive testicles.

Without Sneijder & Eto'o, I can't see Inter being far ahead of us.
They have a far better coach.
Far better defense and thats important for the championship, as they wont be spilling points as we do.
Their midfield is still extremely competent, stil better than ours, esp on the wings, where we lack both starters and depth.
Milito is still o goalscoarer we can only dream of, maybe not enough to make the difference in CL, but as far as serie A is concerned he wont have issues to score. And Pazzini can add more depth than most of our subs, Pandev is more reliable than Quaq and Pazzini.
Besides if they sell Eto for 35mil, they will make a new acquisition. (forlan or Tevez are the likely targets)

And dont forget than Italy, the most important thing is the political, background and media influence.
Inter can still pull the strings and claim any championship they want on and off the field, once in 3-5 years they will just let some one else claim it...

1. Inter completely strugged on the wings in the tim trophy
2. Krasic, Pasquato, Pepe + new signing(s)
3. Milito scored 5 in 23 in Serie A last season 8 in 32 in total. Amauri was more effective in Parma
4. :sergio: Are you completely drug fucked?
5. Inter can't afford Tevez, they have huge debt and Forlan is dropping off largely at the moment.
