A tight rotation of 14/15 is all you need IMO, they are professional players, they are expected to play 2 games a week.
That's fine. Until you start getting injuries at crucial times. Depth doesn't mean you have to roll out b-sides against smaller teams.

You said "depth is overrated." That has to be the dumbest fucking thing I've ever read.

Like literally the fucking dumbest thing ever.

and that's why we will either fininsh low in the league, or not make it out of cl
I am not convinced about the CL to be honest, we don't have what it takes to do well there and we cannot afford doing like Napoli did by focusing mainly on Europe. The league is tricky, the more we get distracted by the CL the more chances we are giving Napoli and Inter to make a result.

Juve 2005-2006

Napoli 2011-2012.

those are ones that spring to mind.
bayer leverkusen 2000

15 player selection, 3 injured for a while so it was actually 11 and a goalkeeper

killed bundesliga, and lost the CL final undeserved

thing is, 2 key players injured and suspended, and shit hits the fan

napoli ? injury for cavani and they'd be fucked

Look at the top teams in Europe, they use a 14/15 man rotation the majority of the year. And the majority of the players we have on the bench are average or suck.

i'd say we have a pretty good bench tbh

leverkusen is more the exception, not the rule.

also, we don't have such key players that elevate us like say ronlado or messi.

Go watch Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea and see how they play the same team week in week out. Yeah players are rested, but one or two at the most, they use a 14/15 player rotation,

this is all fantastic when your players don't look tired after playing a match. vidal, litch and pirlo can barely run after playing 2 matches in a week.

It could have something to do with Barca/Real/United's players having experience of playing together and playing in CL for such a long time. I think we'll be there in a couple of years. Right now we are newbies in CL and playing in two competition takes time to adapt to.

And this is what she has to say (not sure if it has been posted yet...)

“I know Conte and he is a winner in all things,”

“To think he was working with betting syndicates or any kind of match-fixing is just completely illogical. You just had to see how angry his face was when Juve ran into a series of draws.

“I believe the investigation needed a big name to draw attention from the public.”
