What I don't understand is how the penalty keeps changing. The penalty has changed more often then actual evidence against Conte has been submitted.

lol

It changes in the press no?

if so, so it just shows how much speculation are there an how little facts. And what's lol is that people jump to conclusions and make more speculations based on speculations :D

Props to this guy who called on the radio yesterday to defend Conte, BonBon, Pepe...They were talking about Di Vaio and the betting scandal and I guess they mentioned Juve and this black(I think) guy from Montreal called in and gave it to them. :p

How can anyone know the punishment before the trial?

We just need to wait and see.
Gazzetta always does, they are connected to the ones who actually hang over those penalties.
In calciopoli, they were the primary judge, even in the court they have admitted that they have to punish us more due to the excessive allegations made by the press...\
In some democracies the power and freedom of the press is overexploited...

Gazzetta has actually been pretty retrained and fair, from what I've seen.

Corriere dello Sport has been the main one with inside knowledge this time.

It hasn't changed.

There has been a maximum potential penalty spoken about.

There were the negotiations around the plea bargain.

There is the 15 months that Palazzi requested Conte be banned for.

Not there is CdS guessing that Conte will get 10 months, if found guilty.

Report: Conte to resign?

There are shock reports that Antonio Conte could be ready to hand in his resignation if the Juventus Coach is banned for 10 months in the betting trial.

He decided to fight the charges of failing to alert authorities to a potential fix while he was at Siena in 2010-11, but risks up to a 15-month ban.

It is rumoured that the Disciplinary Commission is leaning towards a 10-month suspension, which would keep him out until June 9, 2013.

Although the ban would only apply to sitting on the bench or in the locker room on match day and so he could continue to train the squad on a day-to-day basis, this would be a heavy blow.

There are conflicting reports coming out of Beijing, where the Bianconeri are preparing for Saturday’s Italian Super Cup against Napoli.

According to La Repubblica, Conte is ready to follow assistant Cristian Stellini in offering his resignation.

However, Sky Sport Italia claim the tactician is sticking to his guns and has the full support of the club even if he is suspended.

Massimo Carrera took over on the bench in the weekend’s friendly against Malaga and is expected to be Conte’s eyes and voice on the touchline during the ban.

There had also been reports last night that Conte was going to fire the Juventus lawyers as part of his legal team in this case, but the club released a statement denying that.

Inevitable that there would be rumours like this.

Wouldn't read too much into it.

Also, even if Conte offered his resignation (which wouldn't be an unreasonable gesture in the circumstances), it doesn't mean Juve would accept it.

if conte wants to quit we should let him go (and I don't think agnelli would reject that offer)
he looked to me very unhappy in the stands last saturday
I don't believe he is actually planning it but on the other hand I can imagine him losing his passion to coach if he gets suspended for 10 or more months.

that would be really dumb of AA.
if conte really wants to quit it has nothing to do with juve or anything but why would we keep him if he wants to quit
