No one of us knows exactly what happened, yet everyone seems to think that Conte does not deserve any sort of punishment. I don't get that.
I said something along these lines yesterday, and I didn't get any responses providing evidence proving he is either innocent or guilty.

A lot of people were shouting about how much of an injustice it was though. I'd like to know what they know.

That is the point there is no evidence . In a civil court when there is no evidence you are found innocent , in sports justice if you can't prove your innocence (which is almost impossible) you are found guilty . Still , this is how sports justice works , so up to this point we may hate it , but it is right according to justice .

The point is that this whole thing is based on the testimony of someone who is not reliable at all and the inequality of judging what he says . If they accuse conte being guilty for Omitted denounce that means that everybody else that carobbio accused is guilty for the same as well . Which means that all the players of siena and mezzaroma should get the same , but they didn't . That pratically means that palazzi believes only a part of what carobbio says which in itself is absurd . Either you believe him or you don't , you can't believe only the parts you want to believe , if you believe that he is lying about something than in that moment you are questioning the reliability of carobbio making everything else he has said unreliable , which normally would make the whole process go down and everybody accused by carobbio will be considered innocent .

I see some people are on their moral high horses. Let me tell you this, I couldn't care less if Conte knew anything. In my book he shouldn't get punished. I am not sure if I would come forward and report match fixing if I was suspecting it as well. If Conte wasn't the Juventus coach, and still was in Serie B, no one would care about this.

Or, and I know this is extremely far fetched, there is more to it & the tuz members don't know every detail.

I keep coming back to the fact that Preziosi received only a 6 Month ban for actually fixing a match - buying the result from Venezia for cash - and getting caught in the act. How could the FIGC reconcile that 6-Month ban with a similar ban for those who were offered a fix and refused or those who simply didn't report something? Does FIGC not see the difference here?
